It was a beautiful gown but fitted for someone with a longer torso. I am 5’5” and the shoulders could have been shortened by about 3 inches. It would probably be perfect for someone 5’8 or taller.

I suggest sizing up one dress size. I normally wear a dress size 12 and I bought the 14 and it fit as it should. If I had bought the 12 it would have been too small.Very flattering silhouette and looks nice for the price. It looks pretty in photos. In person you can tell it's a cheap dress but it's definitely not as obvious as some other dresses I've bought online. It is an inexpensive and cheaply made dress that's not meant to be worn over and over again. This is the type of dress you buy that you know you'll never wear again, such as a bridesmaid dress. The sequins snag on things and fall off and the tulle gets caught on everything.The bottom of the dress would be hard to hem (for people with rudimentary sewing skills) so if you're a shorter person I say skip this unless you know someone experienced with tulle or take it to get professionally altered. For this price and knowing the rest of the garment will fall apart, I wouldn't spend the money on professional alterations.If you have a shorter torso or a large chest you might want to look at other options. I have a large chest and a short torso and the straps were a bit too long on me and my goodies were threatening to come out the whole time I wore it.The lining is thin and the tailoring is minimal so if you're trying to disguise any areas you're self-conscious about shapewear is essential. I hated the seam that went across the waist so I bought a matching rhinestone belt to disguise it.Overall for the price point and how it looks I give it 4 stars because you really can't beat the price for what you're getting. It is a pretty dress you just have to keep some things in mind while buying. I did deduct a star for how the sequins just fall off though, because there's no excuse for that. Sequins are supposed to be sewn on the garment and some of them look like they're on there with some kind of adhesive.

beautiful overall. beautiful color. runs small in the hips (top is great). a little short in the waist. a little long overall but the fabric can be trimmed for a hem (no needle and thread required). The zipper gets stuck at the seam where the top is attached to the skirt (not a deal breaker but I had to get help to zip it for the try on).I had to return because of fit issues. so sad because the dress is

I love this dress. I wore for my wedding. I'm 5'10" and 207 pounds. I received many compliments. I used those sticky silicone bra things, because I needed a little lift, I'm 54 lol.

It's really pretty. The purple wasn't as dark as shown, but would be perfect for a candlelit evening event. Needed to be altered at waist and straps too long. Length was a tad bit too short for my 5'11" daughter. Perfect for a woman, but ultimately it looked too mature for my 29 yo, she wanted a more youthful dress.
