Worth taking a chance!
The media could not be loaded. For $8.. This thing is awesome! My kiddo loves it. And I think it’s made well and a good value. I timed it only off by 30 seconds. Good buy!

This small timer is perfect to put on the bathroom counter to time brushing your teeth. Also I time how long to use the roller for my face

Precise, but not accurate.
The seller is transparent about the shocking inaccuracy of these timers. I commend such honesty.±10% over 3 minutes guarantees a range of 2:42-3:18, an intolerable tolerance, except perhaps for inclusion in the unused chemistry set of a pathologically disorganized child.I hoped this was just an overestimation to protect the seller from accusations of an over-hyped product. Well, it was not.My timer reliably empties a hair over three minutes and fourteen seconds every time, so if you run it twice, you're almost 30 seconds off schedule- 30 seconds. That is an affront to the very concept of time.All that said, this product was selected mostly for aesthetic reasons, making it easily deserving of 4-stars.Do not use your pink sand timer for time-sensitive applications. Otherwise, it is a whimsical delight.

The glass inside is makes the item dangerous.
I bought this as a replacement because my granddaughter picked up this item and the bottom fell off and the GLASS container holding the colored "sand" broke when it hit the tiled bathroom floor. It exploded into lots of small dangerous pieces. She was lucky that I was close by and told her to stay where she was and not walk as she was bare footed in the bathroom where the item was. It had to cleaned up carefully. It was at a friends house so I replaced it. However I think it is a VERY unsafe product as the timer should be made of PLASTIC not GLASS!!!! Especially it it is geared for young children.
