Purchase these because raw peanuts in my area are hard to find.This is they have a very good flavor and extremely good for using and making candy and brittles will definitely be buying more of these again

Great for late night snacking

I always buy this product and have not been disappointed yet. Quality raw peanuts. I bag and freeze when I get them in portion recipe sizes of 1 and 2 cup servings. These will last a long time in the freezer. Definitely recommend if you are considering purchasing. I have been buying this brand for four years. Unless the quality goes down or there is an issue with these I will continue to purchase.

This 5lbs bag of raw Spanish Peanuts came in a vacuum sealed Mylar bag. I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars because the Mylar bag had an 3-inch slit by the label which comprised the quality and freshness of the product.This is only an assumption but because the slit looked like it was cut by something sharp, I’m thinking that it may have happened when Amazon received this product into their inventory and this bag was probably top and center where they used a blade to cut the box open and inadvertently, cut the product’s Mylar bag! That is just my guess!When this package was delivered, the product itself was placed in an Amazon shipping box with no other packing materials. The shipping box was intact and had no visible damage. When I opened the box upon receiving it, I did inspect it but I did not see the cut slit because it was right up against the product label. I had put the raw peanuts to the side for several weeks prior to the Thanksgiving holiday and intended to make candied peanuts. Then last week, I got all my ingredients out to start the recipe and when I stood the bag on its end to open the bag with a scissor at the top, that is when I noticed the 3-inch cut slit in the Mylar bag because as the bag sagged a little the opening became apparent and you can see the peanuts inside, ready to fall out. I was so disappointed that I had not noticed it when I first received it because now it was beyond the return window. I think Amazon should do a better job in its Quality Control when shipping food products to ensure the product has not been compromised before it goes out their doors. Yet, I will give them Kudos because it bothered me so much what had happened, I felt compelled to call Amazon Customer Service to at least report what had happened. I had no expectation when ai made the call but to my surprise, after a short hold, the very nice Amazon CS rep came back on the line and stated that he had processed a credit for the product amount and offered an apology for the bad experience! You see, sometimes good things can happen when you least expect them to! Great job Amazon and thank you!

Used in Christmas candy! I made peanut clusters. They were wonderful! Arrived fresh and packaged well! Perfect amount for candy making!

I make my own peanut butter. I was gathering info and making comparisons before buying. I added these nuts to my cart so I could refer back easily. My husband, who rarely makes a purchase online, ordered something else and thought he'd be nice and get my nuts for me at the same time. I'm glad he did! They were fresh out of the vacuum sealed bag, tasted good, roasted easily and the red papery stuff removal was easier than I experienced from another brand. The finished peanut butter tastes great!

I have eaten raw peanuts for years. Although these are fairly good, I found better, fresher raw peanuts at my local Indian grocery store for a much better price. These were are on the hard side, not chewy and as flavorful as most raw peanuts are.
