Great Cleats for Quality/Personal Safety/Price. This is the first time I have ordered the Due North Light Industrial snow/ice cleats as usually I wear their All Purpose Industrial cleats all winter (previous review). I waited until the first hard freeze to try them out on a lightly ice glazed concrete under 2" of snow to shovel several buildings long sidewalks/stairs. I wore them over my athletic shoes & then on snow boots. They functioned very well with no slipping & they didn't fall off during twisting/turning. Love the tungsten Carbide Cleats over steel cleats! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical with 4-cleats on ball of of shoe & only 2-cleats on the heel(instead of 4 as on their All Purpose Industrial). The large easily stretched over my size 8.5 women's athletic shoes & I had to tug a bit to get them over my size 9 snow boots and, as I have found with other Due North cleats-with use/wear the rubber will ease up & frankly a bit of tugging to get them on/off initially is a no issue for me compared to safety they provide. These are great for ice/snow walking. Again, Another great cleat-I highly recommend Due North ice cleats due to quality/personal safety/price.

I live in Montana and I hike every day no matter the weather. These snow trax really stick on ice. The fit over the toe never slips off. I bought 2 more pairs for my neighbor.

Work on running shoes in winter

I’m on my second pair of these sturdy and well made cleats. I’ve tried 2 other highly well known/popular brands and neither of those lasted as long as this type does. The original pair came with extra points to pop in once the old bits wore out - brilliant!These not only do the job of stopping me from slipping and falling, they more importantly give me confidence to step strongly when I walk, and allow me to continue to get out despite the weather.These are a tad tough to pull on but I simply keep them on my hiking boots and don’t remove them unless I have to.I highly recommend these.

They were perfect for the snow/ice hiking we did, and they hang great on a carabiner to tote along if you're not sure you need them. Also great when we had ice on the driveway and needed to do some shoveling. A lifesaver!

Runs very small! Ordered the Industrial XL thinking with the extra large toe box, the cleats would fit well over my husbands size 13 shoes. The cleats would not even begin to go over his shoes. Very disappointed in this. I did try the cleats on my size 8 shoes and the cleats fit perfect. I would have been better off to go with the less expensive Due North cleats. The $11 cleats are more pliable and will just stretch over husbands shoes.

These are really effective, and much easier to put on / take off shoes/boots than some of the other Due North traction aids. A huge help for icy Winters.

XL says it fits up to a 14 boot. Couldn’t get it over a 12 shoe. Very little elasticity. Have bought these in the past and loved them.
