I have a cat with stomatitis that caused him a disturbing amount of pain and agony. I took him to the vet a year ago for antibiotics followed by a dental cleaning, which set me back about $300 over two appointments. That did not fix the problem, and I took him in several times between then and now for follow-up, more antibiotics, and some shots on three occasions. It was beginning to look like I would have to have at least another dental cleaning and possibly tooth removal done -- maybe on all of his teeth. I decided to check Amazon for stomatitis medication and found this. The reviews looked good, and I decided to try since it is a low-risk, high-reward situation. He no longer is experiencing pain, his gingivitis is gone, and he is living a happier life. So, great results so far.

My step-sister recommended this to me. Works on her cats with stomatitis. She saw a big difference in gums. My cat also has stomatitis. I immediately smelled a difference in his feces and breath. Before, both would knock you down! His feces was very metallic smelling...poor guy, definitely had something going on inside. This has helped tremendously. I do use it in conjunction with 2 other products (probiotic and TEEF), but noticed a difference when I added this to the regimine. I don't give it a 5 star because his gums are still red. It's a process!

Have been using this for a month on my 2 year old cat who has pain issues with a tooth and the worst breath ever. These have reduced his bad breath to a minimum at this time, and he has been chewing his food much better than before. I give him one tablet twice a day, crushing it up in his wet food. I'm also giving his 11 month old "sister" one at twice a day as well, to hopefully prevent any dental issues with her in the future.I know it isn't a permanent solution, however I'm hoping it continues to give him some relief until we can save up enough to get that tooth taken care of.

Im giving only 3 stars cuz this treatment takes time, i will definitely update when I see results after weeks. Until now is very easy to make my cats with Stomatitis eat it.

This product was a complete waste of money not to mention it costs double what competing dental products cost. It is hard to use as the pills are tiny, you must use 4-5 of them and they have to be ground up or crushed. It gave it a month but still saw absolutely no reduction in redness along the gum line (gingivitis) in my cat's mouth. It is not test proven in clinical trials. VetriScience's products are. Get that instead. WASTE OF MONEY.

I bought this for my 14 yo baby girl who had the worst breath. I was skeptical but,after just a few days, her breath smelled dramatically better. She's eating better too. This stuff absolutely works!

One of our cats (10 yrs old) has had bad breath off and on, but symptoms were getting worse over the past 2 years. We free feed, so the cats graze throughout the day instead of a set time. I noticed he hadn't been chewing dry food; instead he would just swallow it whole, which I didn't want to become a habit. Once we started teeth brushing, we realized there was some blood in one side of his mouth coming from the gums. We continued with the brushing, we tried plaque removal additives, water additives, the works - nothing made an impact, and he continued to swallow whole pieces of cat food and vomiting became a regular thing.BUT - then, these pills. I swear I feel like I'm doing an infomercial, but these worked for our cat. The swollen gums, the stinky breath, the bleeding - gone. I started at the beginning of December, 2 pills in the morning, and 2 at night, in a little wet cat food. I crush them with the back of a spoon to mix them in completely. By mid-January, I noticed he is CHEWING THE DRY CAT FOOD AGAIN. Crunch, crunch, crunch, in the middle of the night - I never thought I would enjoy that sound so much!I have seen no negative side effects, and his mood has been excellent. Plus he's much more pleasant to be around not that he doesn't smell so bad. :) HIGHLY recommend.
