Live album on two CDs, paired with the concert film on DVD-Live Album And Concert Film Captures Definitive, 26-Song Performance Recorded Live Over Three Nights At The Forum In Los Angeles In September 2018 -The Eagles spent most of 2018 on the road with an extensive North American tour that found Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit joined by two new bandmates: Deacon Frey and Vince Gill. Earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike, the quintet was firing on all cylinders when they arrived at the Forum in Los Angeles for three sold-out, hometown shows on September 12, 14, and 15. Highlights from all three shows have now been compiled for a new 26-song live album and concert film LIVE FROM THE FORUM MMXVIII. -LIVE FROM THE FORUM MMXVIII captures definitive live performances of the band’s most iconic hits (“Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Desperado”) and beloved album tracks (“Ol’ 55,” “Those Shoes”), along with some of the individual members’ biggest solo smashes (Don Henley’s “Boys Of Summer,” Vince Gill’s “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away,” Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way”).

Terrific concert, professionally videos, and include first with singer/guitarist Vince Gill
Terrific Eagles concern, featuring 33 sings and the first professionally produced album that includes singer/guitarist Vince Gill.Filmed at the famous Los Angeles Forum - familiar to local fans for its basketball venues - the album includes one Blu-Ray and two DVDs, plus an information pham-let with summation of songs in the (rough) order of appearance on the Blu-Ray disc.Vince Gill is known for his country and western albums, when songs are specifically featured by him, they follow close to this tradition - including "Don't Leet Our Love Start Slippin' Away". This - like the Australian crowd on another album - has a totally enthusiastic crowd, that brings the band back for some of its most famous songs: Hotel California, Desperado and The Long Run at the end of the event.Certainly must be rate one of the two best professionally video albums released by the Eagles!

What a Great Mix of Eagles and Solo Cuts
I'm not sure what people are complaining about with sound quality and production. First of all, it's a live performance, not a studio production. Secondly, these members are in their 70's. Most people in their 70's can't move their fingers due to arthritis. These guys were excellent! They would be my father's age, and I cannot even imagine my father able to play any instrument or sing. In the era of 70's/80's bands going on tour 50 years later - the Eagles are certainly on top.I first heard this on a crappy TV on July 4th, 2020 on ESPN, lying in a hospital bed with covid. Isolated and trying to recover, it was a memorable 3 hours from my hospital room. I knew I wanted to order this when I got home.I have played it for several of my friends. I have a nice Samsung TV with great Def Tech speakers. Everyone of my friends ordered their copies after watching mine. I have no idea where some of these other reviewers are marking down the sound quality - even for the one who claims to have a "critical ear" - whatever dude. Put everything in context and you'll realize you are getting a great collection - both audio and video. Highly recommend.

Glad I made this purchase
I didn't if I would like Eagles without Glen Frey. His Deacon and Vince Gill certainly fill the void. Glad to have Joe Walsh on the straight and narrow and sounding good.

Son is obsessed!
My son is only 18 months and is absolutely obsessed with this live concert. We first saw it on Prime but purchased the physical CD/DVD as well. He will say “Joe” or “Gill” anytime Joe Walsh or Vince Gill is on. It may not be the original line up but they sound amazing. Vince is an amazing guitar player and his voice is still great. Deacon has done an amazing job joining in honor of his father. Thank for from the biggest little Eagles fan!

DVD and CDs are both excellent!
Watching the dvd, it was awesome and I felt like I was back at the Eagles farewell concert a few months ago. It’s very well done! The double CD set is an excellent live version of the concert with a few extra songs included. Worth every penny!!

Career-spanning set from the boys honoring Glenn Frey's legacy in fine form
An excellent live album/concert film showcasing the best of their career, and the individual members' solo careers, while honoring the late great Eagles founder Glenn Frey. The band is tight but lively, and Deacon Frey's appearances on lead vocals are poignant and dripping with nostalgic magic. The addition of Vince Gill is hardly noticeable with Joe Walsh and Steuart Smith on dueling guitars, but I'm sure he helped to bolster the sound overall. His single "Don't Let Our Love Start Slipping Away" fits seamlessly into the set, allowing him a spotlight moment just as the other members have for their solo material. The extended intro to Hotel California adds a new dimension to their iconic classic and serves as a highlight of show, among many others.

Audio Quality Perfect
I do not agree with some reviewers that were critical of the audio quality of the Blu-Ray disc. I listened on a Sony 5.1 receiver with 6 JBL speakers and the DTS audio on the disc and found it to be more than satisfactory. Deacon Frey and Vince Gill fit in with the band perfectly, and you could see several times that Don Henley approved. The musicianship was incredible, as always with the Eagles. The only negatives were the black bars (why after all these years?) and the fact that they did not include Steuart Smith in the list of 5 band members at the end. Smith is an incredible musician responsible for many of the notes that make the songs so recognizable and memorable.
