You get what you pay for.
Is this expensive for a vacuum.. yes, yes it is. But is it worth it? 1,000%! If you’re looking for a good vacuum for your shop, garage, or whatever this is it. I bought this for my husband’s shop (secretly for myself) to keep the shop clean and keep our vehicles clean. It really sucks in a good way! Super strong, powerful, and it’s pretty quiet. If you own a detailing service and you’re looking for a vacuum that’ll be an investment in your business you need to buy this! We have ours on a google smart plug so we can turn the unit off and on from the vehicle without walking back and forth. The 50 foot hose is great the, the hose reel that comes with it kind of crappy. The only downside to the unit is that it is NOT for wet pickup. You can buy an additional attachment system for that and I’d definitely recommend it if your gonna be using it for wet pickup I’m thinking about buying it myself to replace my box store handheld shampooer that I use to shampoo the cars with. I did buy the car cleaning kit that’s sold separately with an orange car wash style nozzle and a very sturdy crevice tool that is metal. Like I said this is an investment but I highly recommend it. I also did lots of research on google about it before I bought it. If your a detailer I definitely recommend watching some of the YouTube videos before buying that way you can get the full experience and tips and tricks from them.

WOW
What an awesome vacuum. Has a ton of suction and was surprisingly quiet for that amount of power. Very sturdy wall mount bracket as well. Attachment bag is kinda cheesy but works. Had to order the short plastic threaded adapter so I could eliminate the oversized metal wand attachment thing that goes on the end of the hose. Was definitely too big to easily maneuver while vacuuming out my truck and the wife's car. Fortunately it was only $2 on the VacuMaid website. Also got the orange upholstery cleaning attachment for $8................. puts my old Bissell garage vac. to shame.

SWEET SWEET SWEET!!!!!
Wow!!!! All I can tell you is rhis was $$$$ well spent! I had a Bissell Garage Pro that was a huge disappointment. In the shop within 1st six months and then died five days of the factory 2 yr warranty and no help from Bissell to do anything to help. Then I purchased this excellent quality garage vacuum and wish I spent the extra money on this before buying the Bissell. This unit is stronger on suction and so much quieter than the Bissell. The design is all quality from the wall mount to the double clamping lid with rim seal. The metal hose tip and extension is an added bonus of quality. The attachments nozzel storage bag however is poor poor poor...it is something like a cheap mesh looking shower bag you might take camping! That being said...who cares when everything else is top notch that comes with this system. Vacumaid has made a great quality shop vac and could not be happier!!!!

Worth the money!
Not the cheapest vacuum but it sure is nice to have a 50’ hose and it mounted on a wall, up out of the way. Sucks great and the bags are good too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Garage Vac
I love this American made vac so much that this is my second one.Pro:- American Made- looks good- hose is nice quality- suction power is great- easy to emptyCon:- a bit expensive however I don’t mind paying more for USA made quality items- loud however that is expected with this kind of suction power- hose holder is plastic and I would have preferred metal

Measured Details
Just hung up the vacuum on my garage wall and tried it out. Works good. And here's what I measured. Using a Watt-A-Meter I show that it draws 12.03 amps and 1370 watts. Note that there is a 16 amp breaker on the unit just below the ON/OFF switch. Need to plug this unit into a 20 amp circuit! Also using a SOUND METER app on my cell phone I show that the noise level at 1 foot distance from the unit shows 71 dB and standing 7 feet from the unit shows 59 dB. Meter says that is comparable to a normal conversation! As for hanging that 50 feet of hose? You'll have to place the hose hanger at least 7 feet up off the floor. Each coil of hose should hang at least 6 feet.

I like it so much this is the third one I bought
These things are GREAT. I like them so much this is my third. One in the basement, one in the attached garage and one in the detached shop. I despise the box store shop vacs where the hose won't twist, pulls out, and basically is garbage. Then, the wheels on the box store shop vacs ALWAYS get caught on the power cord, causing them to tip over. These things have good suction, are relatively quiet, and the hose is awesome. It's light and doesn't seem to get caught on anything.Disclaimer, nobody pays me to say this stuff. I bought all three vacuums with my own hard earned cash, and I know and have never spoken to anyone associated with this company. Although, I think this stuff is actually made in America.
