These gears have met my expectations after the break in period there is no noise and they seem to be working properly.Update, 5 years and a lot of abuse they are still in perfect condition.

3 stars for quality control, but 5 once you get an undamaged set
Took a return to get a set that did not have damage to the gear facings (very noticeable chunks missing from both the ring and pinion gear faces). Once we went through the added delay of getting a replacement the install went well. Even the second set had chips on the gears, but in the non load edges. Yukon can do better for the price.

Seriously Reconsider Before Purchasing
Had these gears and all new Timkin bearings and seals installed by a VERY reputable shop. As extra insurance, the driveshaft was perfectly balanced. Mobil oil was used to refill. After about 500 miles, gear noise was evident. Returned the truck to the shop and the differential was fully inspected. Preloads and backlash settings were confirmed to be within specification. Gear and pinion mating surfaces were exactly where they needed to be. All possible sources of problems such as transmission and driveline were eliminated too.Called Yukon Technical Support. After waiting 50, yes fifty, minutes, I spoke to Gus. I explained all factors related to the shop, installation and inspection. Seems that when he realized there was some mechanical inclination, he became exceedingly rude and condescending. This what people experience for calling for help or insight? For those who would say this one guy, not the company. This is 2021 almost 2022, Yukon can very easily audit these phone calls. Is there no one sitting next to him answering calls who can hear this guy? Is there no one supervising him? This is likely the culture of Yukon. The conversation was completely directed to blame fault on the shop. They have zero idea of customer service nor do they stand behind their product. I will never use Yukon products- not even free ones. I value my time. Those of you who are experienced know exactly what I speak of.The product is absolute garbage and the assistance is worse!!! Yes, they have a nice website which Gus determined was incorrect, a Facebook and a Youtube presence with all kinds of high quality videos and pictures. Do not be fooled!!! Their driveline products are not that as good as the images they produce. This company is not what it would want you to believe. I.M.H.O.
