"New" gas tank
This worked nearly as described. I have an old garden tiller with a 5hp B&S engine with the rather strange gas tank with the attached throttle linkage. The tanks are no longer made and extremely hard to find. The tank had been sitting with gas in it for a few years and had both rust and old varnish from the gas. I first tried just acetone which removed some, but not nearly enough. I then found this KREEM kit, which was a little pricey, but I had no other choice. The part A mixture removed all of the rust/varnish from the tank. I followed the directions for all 3 parts and found that the liner did coat the inside of the tank, but seemed pretty thin in the upper part of the tank, even though I had turned it multiple times and given it time to set. Anyway, the tank now works and should last many more years.

Part B is some nasty stuff. A respirator with activated carbon should be used when handling
This was the first time I have used this product to save an old steel fuel tank on an old ATV. It was badly rusted inside and had a few pinholes that allowed liquid to leak out. Using RTV to seal those pinholes while the tank was prepped worked well. The methyl ethyl ketone is some nasty stuff, think nail polish remover mixed with acetone and multiplied by 10. A respirator is strongly recommended. The smell of it might have attracted a skunk, because as I was rolling the tank around with the first round of liner, a skunk walked right behind me. Luckily it kept walking and didn't spray me.The liner took quite a while to complete, but after multiple times of rolling the tank around and letting it set in different positions, I was able to obtain a thick coating on the inside of the tank. The liner successfully sealed up the pinholes in the tank and provided a fresh covering to seal up the remaining rust and prevent additional rust in the future.Do not use part B inside a shop; garage; etc. Make sure you do it outside when there's a breeze to carry it away from you. Nobody should be breathing any part of that.I also had to let the part A set for 2 days in order to get most of the rust dissolved. The fuel tank I was working on was probably a little too far gone to be a good candidate for this product, but it still did it's job.

Tank cleaner
Came as advertised

Great kit
The cleaner made the inside of a 40 yr old tank look new. The liner is only good for 2.5 gallon tank so you may need more. I would guess the liner is between 2-3mm thick when dry. Best of all its good for ethanol gas, sometimes you don't have a choice.
