Exactly as advertised. I was glad Amazon offered this, because it's not available through Dell anymore. Battery lasts as long as it did when the laptop was new 5 years ago.

Because this is a higher capacity than stock, there's a pronounced 'hump' protruding out of the battery and thus, the laptop. Not a big deal for me, but it could be a deal-killer for some use cases.

The battery came charged and started my old laptop right up. Haven’t had any issues.

**Revised..BATTERY LASTED 4 months. WILL NOT HONOR "FULL 12 MONTH WARRANTY"**This battery replaced my Dell 17 XPS (L701X) battery that I ordered from Dell 3-yrs ago. The battery arrived with a 3/4 charge. It took about 1-hr to charge 100%. I used my computer at full operational capacity and it lasted roughly 2.5 hrs. That is an average discharge rate with a 17 XPS with a dedicated premium graphics card. Since this battery performs as well as the OEM battery, I would order again and recommend this battery to anyone. This battery is offered at an excellent price point compared to Batteries Plus which sells for $99. I hopes this post helps y'all.

I purchased this product to replace my laptops old battery. So far it has performed as anticipated with normal battery life. It was packaged well and shipped properly, even with COVID delays the delay was not a real factor on this. It arrived in a reasonable time with the situation. The price was good for the product.

Plugged it in straight from the sealed box. Came with a 4% charge.Despite the labeling saying 90Wh, the computer reads it as:Design Capacity: 73260mWh, Full charge capacity: 76523mWh.Only positive is that it weighs substantially less then my previous battery... which would make sense, given the lower capacity.
