Parker Classic Stainless Steel Gold Trim Pencil

I must admit that this was my first ever Amazon purchase. I was dismayed by the fact that the pencil arrived in an unusable condition. The problem was that the pocket clip was bent away from the pencil body. This is a condition that is not possible to fix, at least with my skills. As a result of this, I was required to return the item. Much to my great surprise, the pencil was replaced in kind within a reasonable length of time. As a result, I now have a new pencil to compliment the matching pen that I have had for some time. I am now using the complete set on a daily basis and I am very pleased with the pencil and also impressed with the ease of service, resolving the aforementioned problem.

The Parker the a classic. It's been use for generations, This mechanism is more efficient at using the lead. There is a very short distance between the front of the chuck and the writing end of the lead support tube. This means that the stub left when you reach the end of a lead is much shorter than with most pencils.

Thought this would complement my SS Jotter but this is very thin. All my other mechanical pencils are thicker. Had to get used to the slimness. .5 mm lead writes well. Parker Arrow pocket clip design is also different. Maybe meant for another market.

My husband lost the pencil to his set, this was a must have.

This item now completes my set of fountain, ball pen & mechanical pencil. I am more than happy with this & the fact that it is a quality item.
