Mrs. Renfro’s Blackberry Serrano Salsa – Gluten Free (16-oz. jars, 2-pack)

This is a delicious mild salsa with a smooth texture that is not watered down. I use it by itself as a dip and also in casserole recipes.

For the price, you won't be disappointed. This is some of the VERY BEST SALSA that my husband and I have ever had!!! We like heat, but not so much that we can't feel our tongues or lose sensation in our mouths and throats. This salsa provides the perfect balance of warmth along with the fruit taste of mangos and tomatoes. We have used it as a condiment topping on chicken and fish....it adds something very special to shrimp tacos. It is very addictive....so the four jars probably won't last. They are packed by the Renfros in a manner that is meant to protect them on their journey to you. Compliments on the packaging...it is above and beyond expectation. An exemplory product...it gets 4 thumbs up from us!

I bought this for my daughter a month ago and she loves it so much all 4 jars are about gone. She said it tastes great.

I am not really disappointed with this peach salsa but have had better. This one has a nice sweet hot flavor but no peach taste for me and a little on the smooth side where I prefer lumpy salsa. There was no claim of lumpy on the label, but a product photo falsely suggested otherwise. Like I said, it is good salsa, but I can buy good salsa locally. I was hoping for excellent peach salsa, which has left my local food market for some odd reason. After this supply is used up, I will continue my search for excellent peach salsa.

Multiple reviews showed it was damaged, I was worried but it arrived quickly in perfect condition! I’ve had this flavor before and can’t find it in any store so I ordered it. Not really spicy, little sweet and unique flavor. Must try.

I don’t normally like sweet in my hot but this is a very special salsa. Can be used to add kick to sauces. The packaging for this set keeps the bottles very safe.

The media could not be loaded.  This is for the Mango Habenero salsa, which is excellent. 5 stars completely for that. I hate rating this so poorly, because its not the salsa's fault. This is my favorite go-to salsa and I get it online because my local grocery store no longer sells it. I like to keep plenty on hand and had just ordered 2 4-packs of it as my supply had been running low.And that is the problem. I get that I am ordering glass jars and that there is a chance one could break. It has happened before when I have ordered this salsa, and while disappointed, I understood that it could happen and felt like they had been packaged as best as they could. This time however, 2 of them were broken with salsa all over the place. 3 of them had their lids barely on and seals popped. So that left me with 3 salvageable jars once I washed them off. Out of 8. Hence the 1 star.The packaging for this showed no real worry or care that these were heavy, glass jars. 4 jars were packaged together with a thin piece of bubble wrap wrapped around them and taped to the top. Two sets of those and a single piece of the packaged air with about 4-6 bubbles. And lots of empty space in the box. Its not a surprise that the jars broke given the packaging job.Looking on Amazon for a way to report the damaged products did nothing for this item. I'd be happy to just have the damaged ones replaced. But I see no option where I can submit my case.So buyer beware with ordering these. Its an amazing salsa and if you are reading this, I hope you can find a way to try it. But unless something changes, I will likely try to find another way to obtain this and not order it here again.TL;DR - fantastic salsa but packaging and delivery less than ideal.
