Made in Japan Shichifuku Manekineko Brown Color Noren Curtain Tapestry

I purchased these to place across my kitchen window. They are absolutely adorable, high quality, & fit the small window just right. I also like how light still peeks through vs. a traditional curtain. I want them all! ❤️

In my uptown studio I wanted to visually deliniate a small space by the door, create the feel of an entryway without adding clutter. This was perfect for creating both a tiny welcoming space and visually breaking up the line of sight. As you can see from the photo the fabric is slightly translucent, allowing one to still enjoy the pattern from either side (the noren was hung front side facing the door). The tension rod I used to hang the noren is Amazon’s.Note: According to custom, ALWAYS hang/place maneki-neko facing in the direction that guests or clients come in, so maneki-neko is ‘greeting’ and ‘welcoming’ them. Having the cat(s) face away from an entering guest is considered both unwelcoming and very bad luck.)

It pleasant to look at every time when I enter the bathroom.

Grabbed the cat noren in yellow and it looks just like the image -- super cute and feels well-made!

This item is really adorable! My only complaint is that is sheer and the back isn’t a solid color, so you can see the image on the back on the other side. I was hesitant hanging it up for when guests enter my home due this, but I ended up just purchasing another one. So now I have it hanging going in and going out of my entry way. One of my regrets when I was in Japan was not purchasing one there, so I was happy to see this available on Amazon.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!! It is exactly like the picture, but, way CUTER in person. I purchased it on June 2, and it arrived on time, June 9th, which it was going to be used for a Japanese Theme Graduation Party on June 13th, yet, I live on (Maui) Hawaii. It was perfect, it matched the (SAKE) seller cart my husband built for the sign in reception. The quality is VERY GOOD and it's VERY WELL MADE.The material is BEAUTIFUL!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for a VERY WELL MADE ITEM FROM JAPAN.

I liked the product as it was advertised and when it got here I loved both the appearance and the texture. I hanged it in the middle of a room through a rope for a person who is momentarily sick for her to look a these kitties that she adores. I am very happy with this.
