First, you should read up on the differences between lux and lumens. 1 lux is equal to 1 lumen over a square meter.I measured the lux at the bucket and then at 6 feet in front of the light.For example a small led flashlight has as much lux as these led lights, however that's where lumens come into play. The brightness of a small led flashlight spread over an entire backyard in my case.These are advertised as stadium lights. Not so sure that they are equal to the amount of light true 1500 watt metal halide sports lighters stadium lights put out.Pros:1. Lights are very well built.2. You can aim both lights together or separately.3. Very low current draw. 3.7 amps on 120v. To figure out how much wattage that is use the formula P=ExI or 3.7Ax120V=444wattsThat's less than 2 amps on a 240v circuit.That means you can use much smaller wire, like 12 gauge.4. Less maintenance than metal halide if they last as long as stated. Metal halide loses lumenince over time and needs to be replaced.Cons:1. 444 watts does not equal 1500 watts.2. Costs around $500 vs $600 for metal halide.3. I would estimate two to three of these lights per 1500 watt metal halide. $1000 - $1500 vs $600.4. In our case that would be a minimum of 4 led lights per pole vs 2 metal halide.The true test will be upon install

Very bright for a small light very happy as long as it works longer than the last one I had not the same company

Installed these for an industrial customer. Very bright as advertised. Seems like the coverage area is brighter but more narrow than the metal halides that were replaced but I can’t say that with 100% certainty. Obviously power consumption is quite a bit lower with these which allowed me to place more of them per circuit.

I would not recommend this product at all. I purchased 12 lights and in 2 years the lights went bad and the seller will not refund my money. Again I DO NOT recommend these lights.

Bought this to install at my dad's auto shop parking which is about 8000 sqf wide and can have up to 15 cars parked in it at times. With Covid going on he doesnt go there much and many days the shop was closed. He was concerned about people's cars there at night when no one is around, so I installed two cameras for him out there and got this 500w light.First of all, for 500w, this thing is super bright. I think when it comes to flood lights, 500w is different from the wattage that we use at home, I've had 300w bulbs in my back yard and thought this would be a little brighter but no. This light is like 10 times brighter than the 300w bulb in my back yard. I'm probably missing something somewhere but again, this thing now brightens up the parking like day. To the point now I'm concerned that the neighbors might complain. Although the good thing is everyone around is business and there's no residence anywhere close.Installation wasn't that hard but this thing is super heavy so no way you can install it alone. I'd say you need 3 people to install is comfortably, two if they are strong and no what they are doing.Light color is a bit on the white side so if you are looking for something day light like or more yellowish, this is not your light. As said, its white and its not soft.With IP66 you should be very comfortable putting it anywhere outside even with no protection or shield or cover above it as it can easily handle any kind of rain and dust. I'd probably clean is every year but I dont think it would be necessary.It says it comes with a 6yr warranty which gives a great peace of mind and means they are very confident about their product. I guess we'll see.Overall, a bit pricey but the lumen output is amazing and is super bright and efficient. If money is an issue for you, don't shoot straight for 500w, the 250w model might be good enough for you. Don't thing about your 250w light bulbs at home, this 250w is a different animal!

It feels and looks high-quality materials used on this product. Instructions are easy to follow. Installation was easy all I needed was a hammer drill, a hammer, and a screwdriver. U-shape mount easily attached to the pole I mounted on the concrete wall to hang this light. It is super bright which is more than enough for my needs. It covers every corner of the parking lot and my security cameras are not able to get better quality pictures at night.Overall this is a well made high-quality light that works well even under a heavy rainy day.
