Very nice faucet
Very nice. For some reason the faucet takes a little longer for the water to warm up than my previous faucet. Still, it’s sturdy, works well, and looks beautiful.

Terrific in every way!
This is a stellar faucet. I love the ability to change the angle of the water outflow by adjusting the rubber gasket tucked tucked away just within the end of the faucet spigot. This is not a common "extra" available whereas faucet characteristics go. The quality is top-notch. We are thrilled with our two new Essence single hole faucets. Thanks for inquiring.

NICE LOOKING FAUCET BUT HAS A VERY NARROW STREAM THAT COMES LITERALLY SCREAMING OUT
I like the look and feel of this faucet but what I don't like is that the water comes out in a very narrow stream so fast that it literally makes a whistling noise (I have a pressure reducer on my water line set at 50 p.s.i. so high water pressure is not the issue). The speed at which this narrow stream comes out made it very difficult to use with the handle in in the full open position (water splashing everywhere) and I really didn't want to have to remember to open the faucet handle only half way every time I used it. Luckily I found a solution with this replacement restrictor/aeratorhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06W9FY9XB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

High quality faucet at good price.Faucet install is easy, drain is a bit of work. Very shiny chrome.
After years of replacing cheap faucets every few years when they start to drip I finally have been replacing all my faucets with higher quality ones. The difference is not only in the everyday use (such satisfaction with a faucet that operates smoothly and shuts off completely) but also with installation and longevity.I have found Grohe faucets to be at a sweet spot for price vs. quality. You can aim the water stream, this is very useful for weird shaped sinks. This has the Grohe “quick fix” installation (google it and watch) that makes it so much easier to get the faucet screwed on underneath the sink. (other higher end brands have similar systems as well now I have found). The hardest part of installing the faucet part is getting my water valves to shut off. This does have a a pull up drain system and getting that aligned can take a little time, especially when working under the sink. They want you to use a saw to cut off the excess for the part that the drain lever works with, and this is not easy under the sink. I actually prefer pop up drains at this point, but this one does operate well so I took the extra time to install it.You need silicone for sealing compound for the plug hole. You also need some metric wrenches. 10mm to be specific. If you are a fanatic about fingerprints though the shiny chrome may not be for you.

A Faucet That Exceeds All Expectations
From the moment I laid eyes on the GROHE 2359200A Essence Single Hole Bathroom Faucet with Single Handle, Size Small, Brass, Starlight Chrome, I knew I was in for a treat. What did I like most about this product? Well, where do I even begin? The curved spout adds a touch of elegance to my bathroom, making it feel like a luxurious spa retreat. And let's not forget about the angled design, which not only looks sleek but also ensures that water flows smoothly. Minimal treading? Yes, please! With this faucet, cleaning is a breeze. But what truly impressed me was the drip-free performance. No more annoying leaks and wasted water! And to top it all off, the lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind knowing that I'm investing in a quality product. In summary, if you're looking for a faucet that combines style, functionality, and durability, look no further than the GROHE 2359200A Essence. It's a game changer!

Back to the drawing board
Honestly I hate using this faucet. It has an extremely narrow, too-intense stream so it splashes everything within a foot of my sink. I have to move my hands around a lot just to get every part of them wet and rinse off all the soap. The cap on the faucet is permanently crooked, which looks bad, and the red and blue dots were printed off-center.It seems like the faucet is sturdy and durable so that's why I gave it more than one star. But I really hate using it.Installation wasn't too hard (I haven't installed the drain because I'm going to take the faucet out) but the directions are bad. There are helpful videos online. The directions are IKEA-style, including only pictures and no words. Even when words are needed. There is no explanation of any of the features either. The bolt to hold the faucet on is on the front so you have to tighten it down extremely tightly to keep the back of the faucet from twisting. The faucet doesn't have any feature that helps you line it up with the sink hole, so it's possible to install it with a gap so that it leaks. Other faucets have gaskets or tubes that hold the faucet more centered in the hole. There's no deck/escutcheon plate.I'm super bummed.
