Excellent buckwheat noodles for a great price.
Best priced, great texture noodles...I love buckwheat noodles on cold salads or in soups/stews but recently the prices have soared, double at my local market. I bought two of these this week since this is a staple in my pantry, I may buy more. The secret to cooking these noodles is to not overcook them...they are delicate and can become mushy in seconds. I buy all my noodles from this company, ramen, udon, brown rice noodles and soba.

Summer staple
I love these noodles for hot summer lunches. These are different than your regular ramen or udon noodles. I boil these and then strain them, rinse with cold water and throw some ice cubes on them to get them really cold. I like to use Shirakiku Soba Noodle Soup Base (Tsuyu) (found on Amazon) or Yamaki Tsuyu Soup Base (not on Amazon at the moment) to dip these in. Pair this with a small salad and Kewpie sesame salad dressing, and if I'm feeling really bougie I hit up my local Safeway and pick up a California roll. Best lunch ever lol. I live somewhere where we don't have a lot of Asian restaurants or grocery stores so it's really nice to get this and have on hand. For two people I use about 1 and half of the noodle bundles. It's not a lot but when you pair it with a little salad and maybe fried zucchini and the sushi roll it feels extravagant.

Tastes Great, but Expensive
I love the taste of these. I often make soups with homemade stocks and toss in some veggies when the noodles are al dente (I would love to see what Google translate does with that). Love the flavor and texture of these noodles; although, I will probably be struck by lightening one of these days for my heretical practice of snapping the bundles of noodles in half before tossing them in the pot. Ah, yes, I've also use these as a base for mussels, tossing those in slightly before al dente, so the noodles are not al mushy when the mussels pop open.I will say that I happened to wander in to a Korean grocery store south of me in Hopewell Junction and found these for 1/3 the price. As with all items Amazon, beware. Even at the Amazon prices, they are a good value for $$$/circular-belly_rubs.I also admit that I transfer these to a Ziploc bag when I first open the package, so they don't absorb ambient moisture in the pantry. For shipping, the packaging is fine and if you don't live in some place like the tropical Hudson Valley, you may very well not have to do this.

Great Taste
These noodles are awesome. We tried a new recipe that called for them and were initially hesitant, but they turned out great. Healthier than regular noodles. In the summer eating them cold is refreshing. Super easy and fast to cook. We have these set on repeat, so we never run out. The texture is very similar to regular pasta, but due to being made out of buckwheat makes theym healthier. The package size is a great value and so convenient.

Wow what a time saver
I had never had buckwheat noodles before I found these, but I'm glad I came across them. I've been looking for recipes that are quick and nutritious and I learned about buckwheat noodles and how versatile they can used for in recipes. My absolute favorite thing about these is the portion size and how they can be cooked in exactly 2 min (you need boiling hot water though for it to cook quick and properly). They're a wonderful pantry staple and so helpful when I'm feeling lazy to cook.

Great everyday soba
This is a solid product. Not as great as some of the high percentage buckwheat flour versions but so much better priced.

Very good for cold soba.
Noodles cook up with a pleasing shape. They have that good texture and just the right amount of chew.I got these for cold soba and they hold on to the dipping sauce well, for a very refreshing and pleasant experience. For this dish the noodles really matter.
