Bought this cable to use with our new projector at our church. The first cable we bought, we actually had included it in our order when we had purchased the projector. That order was through another projector company, not through Amazon, and that cable just did not work correctly, couldn't get picture when connected from the laptop to the projector.We needed a new cable fast, so decided to grab one on Amazon, and with prime shipping, was here in a couple days and perfect timing to install before Sunday morning.Firstly, the packaging... It was packaged very well! It came in an Amazon box, with DTECH's box inside. The cable was then nicely coiled up and laying in a hollowed out moulded foam piece, which had a little foam topper lid laying over the top. The cable was protected very nicely in this packaging!Wow, what a difference! This DTECH fibre optic hdmi cable works perfectly! No flickering in the picture projected on the screen, pictures/videos are sharp, and the sound through the speakers is great! Oh, the cable is clearly marked on both ends to where you need to correctly plug in it in, you cannot plug it in using either end of the cable. Both ends are clearly marked and is easy to correctly plug in. Can't remember exactly what the labels say, since I'm at home leaving this review now, but I think one end is labeled display and the other labeled source. I could be wrong with that, going off of memory and it could be faulty here, lol. Really like that the cable is thin and light so that there is no weight pulling at the hdmi input on the projector, since we did mount it on the ceiling. We are very grateful and happy with this cable, thank you so very much! 😊

Well for this one I expected more honestly, the cable stop working after a week, we just used it like 3 times and that's it

I bought this cable to connect my TV to the AV receiver which is located in a closet. The cable works fine with TV streaming back to the receiver, it also works with DirecTV receiver and an old Blue-ray player. It does not work at all with newer Blu-ray player models. I bought an LG player, no luck. Thinking it was the player, I bought a Sony Ultra HD, no luck. I have tested the cable going directly to TV and through the AV receiver. No luck. The new players work fine with my old HDMI cable so I am 100 % certain that the only thing not working in the setup is the cable. Highly recommend that people stay away from this product if you are using Blue-ray in your setup.UpdateI tried for weeks to get DTECH support to respond. See the image that shows their standard message. Once I gave them a 1 star review they actually engaged by email. Email support gives you a couple of responses a week. I was told I needed a 5 Volt adaptor which I bought and it didn't help. Support said they thought the cable might be broken and maybe I should return. However, they kept saying MAYBE so I ran out of time and patience and bought a different cable, it worked perfectly. It is a MavisLink HDMI Cable Fiber Optic 75ft 4K 60Hz HDMI2.Amazon then gave me a very hard time when I tried to return the cable. After 45 minutes they finally agreed to do me the great favor of returning for a $10 restocking fee. I was fed up wasting time so under protest I agreed. Then told the family that no cyber Monday for Amazon.I highly recommend that you think twice about this product - especially since Amazon will not back it either.To Amazon, I'm probably not going to be able to avoid completely using you this Christmas, but BestBuy and other vendors will be my first options. Very disappointed that you hide behind a 30 day return limit with a vendor who takes days to respond.

These are very nice and very high quality HDMI cables. The ends appear to be metal casing and seem to be very durable. We ordered three cables (two 50' and one 75') and all cables work perfectly at 4K. These are being pulled through conduit in an office building for presentation displays. The smaller diameter of the cable will make for much easier pulls. The HDMI ends are slightly longer than a typical HDMI cable but not by much. I assume this is due to the additional electronics in each end to convert the signal to optical. Also, the cables are directional and are labeled very clearly (both with a tag on the cable as well as printed on the ends).

Great picture quality . Even though it’s 75 ft it works perfect!!!

Aside from great packaging -- the cables are clearly marked source and display at each end. I'm using to extend my DVR CCTV security system 1080p image in 2 other locations -- 50' and 75' away. Using a splitter just behind the DVR, the cables did their job and I was impressed that they actually carried the audio in addition to a clear image. I was concerned about them being delicate especially at that connection ends, but they were fine -- even being dragged through wire chases.
