Beautiful Wok!
I simply adore this wok. It arrived pre-seasoned and has aged well since I've owned it. Plus I love the huge size since I tend to make large amounts of food.It cooks beautifully and while it's a bit heavy for me to "toss", I love the weight of the steel because it doesn't easily burn food, even over high heat.This is one of those "pass it along to the next generation" cooking pans and I intend to do just that!I do recommend buying an inexpensive wok ring as well as a wooden lid (I prefer a flat, wood lid rather than a metal dome).

Woc till you drop
I bought this woc when I started my job. I moved from LA to New York and then London I spend a year in Dubai and then move to Japan before I move back to LA. I guess you can say I waced around the world with this thing.

Works like a wok would work if a wok works for wok-work.
Woks should not be compared to the same criteria as other pans. They don't hold heat - they transfer heat quickly. The bottom of the wok is as hot as the heating element makes it. Use gas or fire on a round bottom wok. Then the sides are sloped and extend away from the bottom so that a cook can lower and raise the temperature of the food as desired by moving the food. That's why you often see a wok technique of adding the food to a hot wok, letting it sit for a moment, then almost constant movement by the cook with wok tools. So many heavy, flat bottom woks designs for sale seem to be an attempt at changing the wok to be more like what western cooks are used to. Waste of time. If you want a wok to use for wok-style cooking, this is a good one because it is round bottom so the food can be moved easily and it does not hold heat off the flame or up the sides because it's not supposed to.Cleaning is similar technique for carbon steel skillets: Heat up water and scrape to "deglaze" whatever is stuck to the pan and then rinse and wipe with towel. Use no soap that will disrupt the seasoning.

Larger than I expected, but beautiful
It is very large,larger than I expected, as I am 82 years old it is a little much for me to handle but still doable! It is beautifully constructed And I am researching the types of foods to use for stir frying. I have a beautiful stir fry cook book

A must wok to have in the kitchen. Cook.s excellent meal, especially Asian cuisine, my wife love's it.

This product is not worth buying
This was a very bad purchase. The product started to have problems within a week of use. There were many pits on the bottom of the pot. Now, after using it for exactly one month, the pits are getting more and more, and getting bigger and bigger. It is obvious that the quality of this product is very poor. Now the return period has passed and I cannot return it. It is really a terrible experience. I hope that friends who want to buy this product will think carefully.

Good wok, try it!
Very good wok, my partner absolutely loves it! You will need a stand to stabilize it since the base is round, but that's not a problem at all. Bought the wood lid as well and like it too.
