Dexter-RussellP94812 Fillet Knife, 7-Inch, Narrow,White

The wife does most of the filleting in our home, she likes this knife a lot. It was a good buy. The plastic handle ensures excellent control. However, only time will tell how the blade holds up.

I’ve been really happy with the Dexter-Russell P94812 Fillet Knife. The 7-inch blade is super sharp and flexible, which makes filleting fish so much easier and more precise. I like how lightweight it feels in my hand, and the grip is comfortable, even during longer prep sessions. It’s also really easy to clean, which is always a bonus. Whether I’m cleaning up a fresh catch or working on something in the kitchen, this knife has been a solid and dependable tool. Definitely worth it for anyone who needs a reliable fillet knife.

Good knife, well priced, trusted brand used widely in commercial kitchens. My other knives are Henckels I've had for 50 years, and they look and feel more premium. However ... it doesnt much matter when cutting :-)

I never give 5 stars but these are the best knives on the market. Very sharp out of the box and after long use very easy to put a new edge on with a steel. I Recommend all Dexter knives.

The knives is up to Dexter's. High quality standards. Has some flex but I would like it better if was a little thinner. Nice knife arrived extremely sharp

I saw this on a YouTube video with Reed the fishmonger. His store had it for $38.00 and honestly, too insane a price just to filet fish.I said let me check it out on Amazon, same 7" filet knife for $15.00 here.But he mentioned a stone he bought on Amazon for $10.00 with a 1000 grit and I did buy that too...Great pair together....He uses this knife on all his fish cutting and brags about this knife. After reading all the amazing comments about the blade, the grip, the make I had to get it.Glad I did... Now I'm ready to load all my ice chest up with fish...glad Amazon also had this Dexter knife.UPDATE 1/2025The knife was hardly used and I had to sharpen it...Very sharp because it was new, but all I filet was chicken breast, and I had to sharpen it after 4 filets.
