Amazing results
I have a traditional maple butcher block peninsula with the yellowish tones. It was fine until I changed the floor. I have been trying to find something food-safe to tone down the yellow for a few years. This was exactly the product I needed. I used the organic white and it gave a perfect whitewashed look. I am so pleased. It was easy to apply, only the faintest scent, and created a good protective finish when dry. Of all my recently finished home improvement projects, I am enjoying this one most!

Great for butcher block tables
The actual product was great. Smoothed out very easily. I poured onto a staining pad then onto the top as I had an area rug below to protect. The table looks fantastic. My negative is that this is $34 for 8 ounces. I couldn’t get nearly half of it out of the container. The pull up ring to make the top expand was early impossible pull up so I just had to pour as is. This meant nearly half of the material was trapped in the container. I had to stain the bottom of the tabletop with something similar to get the project done in time. This meant more money. And now so I have spare around of this, I have to buy another container.

Beautiful and durable
I refinished a mango wood table and used the white hard wax oil to finish. We used the natural one to start but it came out too yellow, so we re-sanded and switched to white. It was perfect!!! Incredibly easy to apply and will be very easy to buff and reapply as scratches come, though so far there are none after a couple months. The table is so soft and smooth and the wood gleams! So glad we went with this instead of poly!

Had to replace countertop
Horrible, had to replace countertop. It’s paint not a stain.

Cool gray color
I thought the color would be a warmer gray but instead it is a very cool/cold gray. It’s the only food safe gray color stain I could find so it’s better than brown. It had a bad odor during easy application process so I kept it in my garage for a week before I could use it in the house.

Easy to use product, nice finish
I can't speak to durability yet but so far I really like the finish that it provides. I applied to an Interbuild Acacia countertop pre-stained in brown it provides a nice lusterious finish without being super shiny. I sanded the countertop lightly before applying Hardwax Oil. The first and second coats soaked into the wood readily and were a little tacky after 6-8 hours but it's continuing to dry nicely.
