Q: What is the diameter of the drain hose

1-1/2" is likely right for the hose itself, but my digital calipers say an inside diameter of 1.75 inches (1-3/4") for the screw fitting - note that the auto-recommended "5 Gallon Plastic Hedpack with cap" screw outlet is way bigger than this!

Q: I want to use this for the staff lounge at my work. Would emptying/refilling it every day be adequate?

Yes, but it's usually pairs well with the camping potty. Because you need some for the waste water to drain into.

Q: How do you assemble the sink? Mine won’t stay

I ended up gluing mine because it wouldn't stay either. It's why I gave it a low rating.

Q: Has anyone had issues where the pump takes longer than normal to output water after an initial push?

No really the first time you may have to Pom fast for few seconds and from there it should only be one heavier stomp and that sit. Make sure everything is well connect and that you have enough water.
