If you're we need a submersible pump for a fountain or something like that this is the thing!
I am SO pleased with this submersible outdoor pump! The price is way good compared to some of the other ones.. I have a powering a lion spitting out water in my front yard. It works fantastic right out of the box. It was like nine bucks or something like that. And it's fantastic it came with a hose plug in the whole nine yards.. for the gallons per hour is fantastic.! The capacity is fantastic it just spits it right out of the lion's mouth, and the pressure is adjustable! Like what?!?! 😎🫵

Works for a small outside fountain
I have two outside fountains, one on my porch and another on my covered patio. They are both small and this pump fits in both of them and works quite well. I leave them on 24/7, so that shortens the useful life, and both locations for me are protected somewhat from the elements. The pump does have a minor flow adjustment, but I set it to full. The cord is a little on the thin side and I worried about that at first, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. The only problem is taking apart the fountains to clean the debris out and installing this replacement pump. The fountain on the porch is concrete and quite heavy and difficult, but the one on the patio is some sort of acrylic and easier to handle. It sits on gravel so overflow is not a problem and actually helps to water other nearby plants. The one on the porch sits on tiled concrete so I have to monitor it a little more so any overflow doesn't stain the tiles, but this is a minor task.

Just the Right Size
We use this pump - not in an aquarium, but between stones in our bird bath, so that the birds can have a miniature waterfall, pumping the water all day and night for out little friends. The splashing sound attracts them all the time and they love it. Just hide it between a few large stones, run an extension cord outside, and it uses virtually no electricity at all. Try one in your bird bath!

Very weak pump with no lift capablilities whatsoever.
The images provided and description are not accurate at all. I purchased this pump for a small garden fountain with a 2.5 foot lift required. the advertisement for the pump says 160 GPH and up to 4 foot lift. Not hardly. I go ZERO water out of the 2.5 foot lift. this might be ok for a small aquarium, but it definitely does not work as advertised.
