Great Product
This stuff is like magic if used by someone that is patient. I used it on my 97 Astro vans Evaporator case that was cracked and the tape repaired it like magic. I did a super clean job on the case with soap and water. Then I used Acetone on the plastic to clean even more. The surface preparation is very important. The tape sticks very tight after that. The backing makes it possible to form the tape to fit the area before you take the backing off. In fact you can peel a little of the backing off to start the stick and make sure of your direction. I peeled back a little at a time as I went.Great ProductMake sure you clean or it may not work as wellThank You

Goodbye Smoke Leaks, Hello Happy Husband!
This LLPT black foil tape is a game-changer! We had some annoying leaks in the seams of our woodstove pipes that were setting off my husband’s smoke allergies big time. After slapping this tape on, those leaks are history—no more smoke sneaking out, and no more sneezing fits! It stuck on easy, looks sleek in black, and feels tough enough to last. If you’ve got a woodstove and need a solid fix for pesky seams, this stuff’s the real deal. Love it!

does its job
I have been burning fire wood for abour 35 years, had 2 wood stoves over the time, cleaned my own chimney etc. now I am 74, I moved to a pellet stove, what people may not realize is if you use this tape on stove pipe reguardless if it a pellet stove or wood stove you should "season" the pipe where you will place the tape, or it may not stick well or you can take some 000 steel wool and go over the pipe area (dont have to be down to bare metel) a few times. the seasoning area of the area you are doing should be clean of all un-season paint. dont put any hi-temp Tape on for about a week of constant burn let it cool down to normal home temp, then apply tape, like many, the stove joints can be a pain of leakin small amount of smoke, expecialy if you have to drill out places to hold joints together (due to codes) I found this tape does a good job, "how long will it last? " mine been on now for a week and so far doing good, it is shinny at first then it fades down to the " original stove pipe black. hope this helps.

Great product
Bottom of storm door was damaged by a storm. Sanded areas down and put the metal tape over the damaged areas.

Not for decorative use
This item probably has many uses, but I tried to wrap my fading motorcycle exhaust pipes. Seemed like a good idea...but this item does not at all go on wrinkle free. Very wrinkled. So much for that. Had to remove and purchase the "fabric" wrap at auto parts store. Much better outcome! So this foil tape works, but with wrinkles.

Good tape
Tape is good and thick has good tinsel strength the black does wear off if it exposed to the sunlight for any length of time and doesn't have good wear so if you expect it to stay black you might want to buy another product it does turn back silver over time with wear or tear
