This oil has a great smell, is very healthy (look up the health benefits for yourself), most people use it in a diffuser but I also like to make xylitol wintergreen candies with it, and they come out tasting great, really high quality wintergreen oil, NOW has great products unlike many of the other companies on here that have low quality "scent" oils that you absolutely would not want to ingest.This is VERY potent stuff, which is why it has a "not for internal use" disclaimer on it, make sure to only use a few drops at a time at most if you are ingesting it, they have that disclaimer there since it would be really easy to take too much if you don't know any better, not because the product isn't pure.Also, for some pets it isn't good to diffuse around or put on their skin, like cats and dogs, it's toxic for them, also never feed it to them either.

I love this essential oil. It has a clean minty scent. I use it in a diffuser in my office.

I felt compelled to review this particular oil because someone had mentioned it was fraudulent. In fact, every negative review of this oil has the same complaints, which are actually unmerited. This wintergreen is different from every other NOW 1 ounce oil. The cap is white, it is slightly fatter and shorter, there is no dropper. I called the company and they confirmed that this product is their product and that the white cap is a 'safety cap' (unlike the rest of the caps) and that there is no type of dropper due to the nature of the oil (wintergreen is strong, I imagine it may interact with whatever a dropper is made of). Anyway, this wintergreen smells right on, I have been using EOs for a long time (and I purchase often). I've switched exclusively to now because of their affordable pricing. This oil is good. Not a scam. If anything, they were being exceedingly careful to make sure you have a safe experience with their product.

This oil works perfectly well for my needs. I was skeptical because Now oils are so reasonably priced and it's true we usually get what we pay for, but over the last several months I have experimented with several brands/price ranges and have found that the oils vary with every single company. It seems to be hit or miss. I have used very expensive oils that are watery and don't smell like they should or don't last any time at all, while finding oils from companies like Now that cost much less, work well, smell great and last. This wintergreen really helps alleviate hardcore body aches for me. I use it alone or with helichrysum and within 20-30 minutes I'm feeling significant relief. I do not have a blog. No one is paying me to say anything or review products. To my knowledge I don't know a single person affiliated with essential oil companies or anyone who is linked to oils in any way. I have been dealing with chronic pain and began a personal quest to become familiar with essential oils. Wintergreen will be a staple in my home, and this brand holds its own very well.

My local Sprouts grocery store carries NOW brand essential oils and they have never disappointed in quality, scent and value. Sprouts doesn't carry the wintergreen scent so this is my first time ordering NOW essential oil online. It is true to the high quality I've come to know. And the seller packaged it superbly, not a leak, break, loose cap etc. Only $6.00. Really cannot beat that for a 1 oz. bottle.
