Seriously Amazing!
I read the reviews prior to making my purchase. I've only had the book a couple of days and am already blown away. Opinions are always 'subjective', however, I find this book to be a very good guide to Odu. I'm always taking aback of how critical others are of an author's work, especially with regards to a subject as expansive as Odu. Like any of us could encapsulate the enormous corpus of knowledge that is Odu Ifa. No where did this author say that, I am a Babalowo! But lets be real, a lot of you say you're babalawos and are not. You aren't really walking in 'Iwa Pele' which is ascertained by how you commented on this great work. We can always find something good about the work and then offer positive feedback so that an Awo can evolve in their knowledge, scope and depth. If you have eyes that see and ears that hear, you'd know how to read and extract vibrations, knowledge, patterns, formulas, advice and wisdom out of this book. We all will be seeking to master Odu up until we take our last waking breath. This book great for a number of reasons. I especially like the introduction: The Ancestors, The Quadrants, etc. Its also helpful to have this book while doing Obi Abata readings. To the dear author, Thank you! Thank you for this tome and I hope that blessings find you from everywhere. Ire o.

This is a great beginner book for an omo Awo
This is a great beginner book for an omo Awo. The introduction is great and explains a lot of terms and practices in the IFA tradition. I have personally given this book to my Babalawo and he says the information is good. Few books have all 256 odus in them combine it with the introduction and you have a great starter book.

EXCELLENT REFERENCE.
This is an excellent reference for priests or anyone seriously interested in Yoruba religion. I am not talking about the beginner, but for those that are looing to become initiated, or want more insight on the "bones" of the religion..."The Odus". For those that has any itas, and want a general understanding, this is the book for you. (Keep in mind, I've stated "general" understanding. You can only get specific information with a competent elder priest.)

the Odu and this is a great starting point
One has to have respect for, and desire to learn, the Odu and this is a great starting point. It takes a lifetime to understand and memorize the Odu, to incorporate it's meaning into one's life, and this is the only book I've found that shares the basic Odu in a way that is readable and understandable. Modupue!

Very Useful Book
I really like this book because it is useful. No, it doesn't have the complete Odu Ese's, but because I can get that info from other places, that does not concern me. This book summarizes the essential messages from an Odu Esu and that can be very useful.
