I’ve been using this Sealproof flexible PVC tubing for about three months now, and it’s held up beautifully. The quality is top-tier—it’s thick, sturdy, and feels like it’ll last for years. I used it to extend a sump pump discharge line, and it handled the job with no issues at all.One thing to note: it’s a bit stiff out of the box. But if you let it sit in the sun for a little while, it softens up and becomes much easier to work with. Once it's pliable, installation is a breeze.Compared to other flexible hoses I’ve tried, this one is in a different class. It’s heavier duty, doesn't kink easily, and feels reliable even in tougher conditions. Quality hose material. Word of advice, lay it out straight in direct sun for a day or so and it will remain supple and straight.

This is a robust hose. It’s built to last. It is still so uncoil it and put it in the sun to get it to relax if you want to straighten it out.

worked perfectly

Used this to go between a pond/stream pump with catch basin and a waterfall box. Took advice to let sit out in the sun to become more flexible but was still stiff after a day. Works well with Schedule 40 fittings. Trying to use to attach pump to fitting in catch basin a real pain. Finally got it connected after three tries and several swear words later. But very well constructed and would use it again. Disclaimer: Wife did all the work since I am in a wheelchair. All the review is her pointers and my watching her and my past experience with piping.

I originally ordered the Sealproof Kinkproof 1-1/2" Dia Waterfall, Pond Tubing, 1-1/2-Inch ID hose to replace some hose on my above ground pool filter setup. some users reported using the kinkproof hose for that purpose. It did not work for me. the ID is a tad under 1.5 inches and i could not properly get this to go on PVC barbed fittings i am using. At least not without much effort or damage to the tubing. this is not what I would call a heavy duty product. this isn't a criticism of the hose. just reporting that it didn't work for me in this application. Instead I bought the Sealproof flexible PVC pipe. This was MUCH better for this application. went on very easily to pvc barbed fittings. No fighting or heating etc. to get the hose on the fitting, it fit as it should. Time will tell how it performs. In regards to application; this worked for me for my pool filter set up. One note , the simple multi size pool adapters that work with the cheaper plastic pool hoses were a bit loose with this pvc hose. I really had to crank down on the clamp much more than the pvc barbed fittings for a tight leak proof connection.

OMG. Good luck trying to mold this to a specific shape. PVC ‘flex’ hose doesn’t flex AT ALL. Wass using it for a pump and pipe connection and it’s so stiff it doesn’t allow the pump to sit flush in the sump pit. Right now have 25 ft in my cellar flow ‘stretching’ in hopes it will relax so I can Manipulate enough to USE it. Otherwise this is way to high of grade for normal use. Sad...*update. Gave up , way to stiff for household use
