I ordered this kit with an extra motion detector and a keypad for rfid tags, so immediately I was taking advantage of the modular nature of the system, easily allowing you to add elements as you go along.The hub was probably the most involved element of the system to set up, but it was fairly straightforward when following the setup video on YouTube.Using the smartphone app, the sensors were easy to set up, sometimes requiring a couple of attempts to register, but this wasn’t a problem.The siren paired immediately on the first attempt despite being two floors higher and the other side of a solid brick wall.All in all I am very happy with the system and the app is really stable and very easy to use.

The Era Homeguard Pro is an impressive wireless security system. Installation is straight forward with two door sensors and two motion sensors. There are two remotes and a an App which allows control from your phone. This was downloaded on to my Android phone. The set up process involved taking a photo which then appeared to crash the process. I got around this by reinstalling and choosing to add a photo from gallery. After that there were no further problems. I have been using the system for two weeks with no issues. I have added a GPRS sim card which ensures you have contact with the system in the event of wi-fi failure. The initial hitch with the App is the only reason I haven't rated as 5 star. Otherwise I am very happy with the system and would recommend.

After reviewing several similar security systems I purchased the ERA Homeguard Pro system, buying three additional door/window sensors.This app based system is simple to set up by pairing all components with the Hub prior to installation. The pet friendly motion sensors work well and allow pur Cocker Spaniel to move around the house without setting off the alarm.It took me three hours to get everything ready to install and a further two hours to install including fitting the siren to the front of our house.Finallyvtwo calls to the customer support team proved valuable with excellent advise available from their knowledgeable team.The whole system can be armed or disarmed using the remote control tags or via the phone app. Brilliant!!!Excellent product

Some fiddling with the app required and a few attempts were needed for everything to connect but after 30mins of setup we now have a very functional alarm. Very pleased.Customer service also great. I called as I thought there was a problem with the motion sensing and the man on the phone was very helpful.

I am sure the alarm will work fine but of course that is an unknown until it is needed. However being a person in their 70s the few instructions that there were did not mean much to me. It would appear that you have to be of the age that understands modern technology, Wi-Fi, mobile phones etc. Although I have installed alarms in the past It took me three days to set this up and even now the app. Is always 'off line' when I need it.

This alarm is perfect for what I needed, and super easy to set up! Was quite impressed with the packaging as everything was packaged neatly with no room for damage in transit.The alarm system instructions are all included so it was simple to get through even for a novice like me!I ordered this kit because it came with two remote controls and all the PIR sensors and window sensors that I needed for my property. The app is really easy to use as well, perfect!So glad I chose this product!

We bought this alarm system three years ago. Back then it seemed like the only options were this or the Yale. It worked fine initially but we have a constant and highly irritating fault recently whereby the motion sensors will set off the alarm even when it is disarmed. Support are useless/don't respond. The ERA product line is cluttered and confusing- are they now focussing on their protect system as this is subscription based? Are they still interested in supporting this product, beyond selling it? They also have multiple different websites and support email addresses (not that it matters much as they won't respond if they don't feel like it). A useful clue for me in terms of their interest if how often they update their apps and the homeguard app hasn't been updated in a year. Protect is receiving regular updates. Furthermore their status updates woefully out of date.All in all, the alarm system after investing almost £400 is only fit for the bin due to a fault that I can only attribute to a hardware failure in the hub of some description, and ERA couln't be less interested in helping with diagnosis/fault finding.
