Very comfortable
These seem to be well made. Nice stretch to soft leather. As other reviews have said they do run narrow so consider sizing up if looking for a wide fit. I normally wear a size 9 in womens. As per the size chart I ordered a size 9 mens. They fit like a glove. On carpet they feel great. I ordered inserts also for outside wear. As to durable it will remain to be seen. Overall I like the look and it will complete my viking wear.

Great Boots, Do Yourself A Favor & Get Insoles!
I'm a big fan of these boots! I have been gathering costume pieces for things like going to the Renaissance Festival and running Dungeons & Dragons games (I'm an actor, so I'm sure I'll find other uses for them as well), and these were exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put on and lace up, good price, nice fit, and feel like they'll hold up. I got the "Dark Grey," which in reality is more like a dark brown, but they look like the pictures on the listing so no big deal. I like that I can wear these with both my "red and black rogueish" outfits and my "earth-tone hero" outfits and they work either way. Nice versatile style.I normally wear a 10 1/2 or 11 depending on the brand, so to be on the safe side I went for an 11 with these. Good fit, a little roomy. Which was the right call, because I HIGHLY recommend sizing up and getting insoles to go with these bad boys. That'll bring them to a nice, snug fit on the feet with room for tucking in the pants above. There's basically no support in these shoes, and I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking at the Renaissance Festival, so I slapped some Dr. Scholl's Float-On-Air Foam Insoles in there and my sweetie feeties felt groovy all day. Super comfortable even walking over rough, uneven terrain for hours. These are solid costume boots, and I look forward to getting lots of use out of them. Only subtracted 1 star because I needed to purchase insoles separately.

I wasn't expecting that nice of a rubber sole!:)
Purchased because I wouldnt have time to make them for the Viking event... Im attempting to get my first simple kit (outfit)completed. These shoes (and others)were out of stock on all the known sites for viking reenactment. So I'm very thankful for this availability. I wasnt sure if this had a rubber sole or not, it does. It is true to size, I wear a 9.5 and the 9 fits just fine(my feet are not wide, if yours are go a size up). But remember these types of shoes will stretch over time. I can fit a insole for more arch support for that planterf, because the top n ackle are lose. I like that it goes up my ankle a bit bc ya never know what weather or terrain you my be stomping around in. It does seem like it will hold up to a few events, but everyday ehh. It was hard to tell if the color would be good, it is. I think its worth the price and thankful it was availability for quick shipping.

Good
I have wide feet and normally wear a 9-9.5 4E. I was skeptical that this will fit me but end up ordering a 10 just to see. The sole isn't wide, however, the faux leather does stretch a little. I was able to fit into them and it actually felt fine. I don't feel any pressure points or anything uncomfortable. Kinda like wearing water shoes. I'd have to wear thin socks and I have about an inch in front of my toes but overall it seems to work for me. It doesn't feel uncomfortable but the sole is thin so I am curious as to how long I can wear them at the ren faire.

Adequate for the purpose
Received these just in time for a local Renaissance Faire that I had a vendor tent at. I wore them for a long 16-hour day, and they were relatively comfortable. Size was about right, I normally wear 10.5 to 11; these were size 11. The design was good for the look, but the material is nothing more than cheap imitation leather, a plastic fusion that we called “Naugahyde” back in the day. If I wore these for a week, they would be trash. For that fact, they are overpriced… but I will only wear them once a year, so they are “adequate for the purpose.” Caveat emptor.

Not bad for the price but take in consideration
Not bad for what you get just be careful around muddy or slippery when wet surfaces also I would suggest in getting some foam insert if you plan on walking or standing for a period of time in these boots.

Great for a Renaissance Faire or Reenactment!
These boots were a great choice for a Renaissance Faire costume that should serve me for years to come! They are made of faux leather, with rubber soles and a thin, non-removable insole. This footwear looks very good as part of a medieval or Renaissance costume, while being comfortable and rugged enough to withstand long hours walking on uneven terrain with small debris. My only suggestions are to be aware that these shoes provide little to nothing in the way of ankle support- they do not have any rigid structure and are quite floppy off-feet aside from the sole; additionally, I would definitely recommend to pair these boots with comfortable insoles, as the insole they come with is quite thin and does not provide much support or cushioning.

Sturdy and versatile
Bought these to go a renaissance festival and after 7 hours they still felt comfortable. I would next time put additional insert soles for comfort and support but by themselves, they worked just fine.
