Used to tidy a previous rewire with external trunking.
Written in 2024...installed 2022These have been superb and 100% reliable. In a renovation of a 1960 building which had been rewired by the previous owner in 2005. The electrician had laid trunking down to light switches. These simply enabled me to shorten the runs to permanent connection and the at the light rose fit the receiver. Trunking gone and light switch relocated to wherever I please. I have over 10 of these units in my home for two years. Never a issue easy to install . I totally recommend.

Better than other brands
I purchased another brand from of wireless switches. Within a week of fitting the pairing would play up and eventually the three way switch packed in all together. Fitted these today and they were easy to pair and within 30 seconds all working perfectly. Smaller form factor than the other brand so would be easy to hide within a ceiling. Great product would recommend and will be buying some more in the future.

UPDATED: not for the weak of soul if you have old wiring
UPDATED REVIEW:I did order a replacement. I will add I am an avid DIY’er in every way except electricity. So this was my first venture into being an electrician. If you’re like me, I can say it’s not as scary or impossible. And it worked HOWEVER some key things to know:1. If you’re living in an old UK house with old chaotic wiring, brace yourself. It took me a long time and actually ended up getting guidance from ChatGPT on how to best wire this. I have attached the WAGO connector combinations that worked in the end.2. I used this as a renter friendly hack to replace a dreaded pull cord in the bathroom. When I opened the pull cord switch I was faced with one ground wire, one black wire, and one red wire. I ended up leaving the old pull cord switch base junction fixture which had a ground wire place. I left that as is and wired the black and red.3. My switch operates three ceiling spotlights. At first when the switch was finally attached and worked my lights flashed incessantly. I was confused. Turns out older LEDs are not compatible with smart switches. Lo and behold once I ordered newer LEDs that are marked as compatible with the likes of Alexa, they stopped flashing. I hope this saves someone else 2+ hours of investigation.4. I think again due to this being old electrical wiring, probably poor circuitry, no matter the type of light bulb, my lights are much dimmer since installing this switch. Upon initial investigation (read: internet trawling) this may be due to not tight enough wiring. I will be revisiting this when I have emotionally recovered from the first round of this journey. Apparently it may also be due to ground being still in the old port. TBC I may ask Reddit. There is also suddenly a delay from hitting the switch to them turning on. Clearly something needs refinement.5. After I left my original review, customer service reached out to me proactively and issued a refund which I think it impressive in a world where customer service increasingly sucks.Long story short, I can see how this would be extremely easy if you’re not working with wiring or circuitry from another generation. If you are, and don’t have much experience with electrical work, prepare to be brave and learn a hell of a lot more than you bargained for!ORIGINAL REVIEW (with 1 star rating): The principle is great if it were to work. The switch clearly works in its own right as the blue light flashes but either the connectors or the receiver part don’t because after hours of messing about with old ceiling pull cord wiring thinking I’m the problem, I opened up wiring elsewhere in the home and tested it to no avail. Once I placed the wiring in the previous switch (elsewhere) it works.Unsure whether I will order this again or call it a write off and get a different brand.

I’m switched on
I hate pull switches in bathrooms! The cord gets dirty and unhygienic plus the switch is often noisey. Enter the radio frequency remote switch that is legal in bathrooms because there are no wires as the unit uses a battery to transmit your command to switch on the light or fan to a receiver that immediately obeys! Very well made and easy to install!Ceiling pull switches are obsolete!

Really easy to install and set up.
What a great find these switches are,My wife wanted an infinity mirror in the bathroom, I said I would look in to it (no pun intended) but I was unsure about a switch for it. Bathroom light switches have to comply with 'Bathroom Electrical Zones and IP ratings as they pertain to BS 7671. I didn't fancy another 'pull cord' type switch. To cut a long story short, This switch came to the rescue. Once fitted and paired to the 'module', it works great, is safe and I get a gold star. I am now looking for other areas where I can fit these devices.

Works perfectly over 30m and one cavity wall in the way. Recommended
I had two previous models from other suppliers (that quoted 100M+ range etc): An unbranded one that stopped working after ~10m, and a Quinetic one from TLC direct that stopped working after 5 metres. Seriously - 5 meters in open space and it stopped reacting! So, I had lost all faith in this technology, assuming they were all equally rubbish.Bought this as a last hope and glad I did! I tested it over 40m and 2x double-brick cavity walls, and it seemed reliable. Its been installed for over 6 months with 30m open space and one double-brick cavity wall separating switch and receiver, works first time every time. It has never failed to switch.I don't know if it actually achieves its full advertised range, but it certainly works over much longer ranges than competing products (with similar range claims) I have tried. I would defiantly recommend this model.
