works well with touch screens like atms
it is well made and sturdy, works great on atm screens if like me reach is an issue for you. one thing, though, take the insulating sleeve off of the end you hold because...duh...insulating. but take that off and you will be holding a variable length conducting rod with a spiffy touch end made of metal mesh. love it. guess it would be a fine pointer too but not the function I cared about.

Great price
Easy, simple and able to easily condense.

Ok
Does what I need it to do but feels like it would easily bend or break. Good enough for what I paid for it.

Channeling My Inner Professor McGonagall
This pointer is everything I never knew I needed to feel like a strict-but-fair wizarding instructor or a highly caffeinated tour guide. With a flick of the wrist, it extends like a magician’s wand of academic power. I now point at things I’m not even teaching—traffic lights, microwave buttons, emotionally unavailable men. It’s lightweight, snappy, and lets me command attention without raising my voice or my blood pressure. The only way it could be better is if it came with its own dramatic soundtrack and dry-erase sass built in.10/10. Would wave dramatically again.

It's ok, not great
A few years ago, I made my own telescoping stylus with a rubber tip. I needed another one, saw this, and thought to try it. Unfortunately it does not work that great. My initial concern was the metal scratching my computer screen. But it simply does not work as well as the rubber tip does. I have to tap several times to get this to work, and it's just better than nothing as that goes.

Great for reaching tablets & kindle at a distance
I use a book stand for my kindle & when using my iPad because I have problems with my hands, back and shoulder. But to keep my back and neck in a position that isn’t painful, the devices are at a distance. I looked for a tablet stylus that was extra long and there weren’t any long enough. This is perfect and perfectly cheap! It won’t do anything that requires delicacy in any way. But for turning pages on the kindle or tapping play and pause on a movie, for example, it’s great. Simple button pushes, basically. And did I mention how cheap it is? A useful tool
