Q: alot of people say that this does not make a strong cup of espresso. Is that true ??? We want a pot that can make strong espresso ?

It can make very strong espresso. The key elements are: 1. The coffe you use. (Both Grind and Type) If you use Folgers or Maxwell House it will be weak. If you use Cafe Bustello Espresso Grind (Best available price point & sold in local markets & Amazon) you get what I call "Heaven In A Cup'. 2. The amount of espresso grind coffe to amount of water is also a variable. I fill my basket and with my coffee scoop that is about 1 3/4 scoops and us 3/4 of the water resovour. I get two full dematase / espresso size servincs and a half or a 3 of a cup left over. I suguest you use you coffe cup and add the water (the first time) to get how many cups you want. I bought the six (6) cup version so I do not allways fill it up. If you want two (2) cups pour in two cups or equivilant and add a half a cup for the pot. You can also pour your coffe cups into a measuring cup to get an exact amount, but you do not have to be exact. I have been drinking Espresso for 30-years. This LuxHaus 6-cup with Cafe Bustello Espresso coffee is my favorite solution. Great coffe that is easy to make, easy to clean up and easy to pay for. "Heaven In A Cup" indeed.

Q: Can you make regular coffee in this pot?

I did just that. Used the Kirkland Signature brand fine grind. Well-executed "regular" coffee from an "espresso" pot. It's fantastic if you think of it as a coffee maker that's made of stainless steel, which is what I was looking for.
