Replacement Air Conditioner Remote Control Compatible with Midea R51M E

As anyone who has the midea U-shaped air conditioners knows (like the MAW08V1QWT), the AC is great but the remote stinks. The battery cover doesn't hold the battery in well so the remote doesn't work. This remote works!! It works for the 10,000 BTU (MAW10V1QWT) and 12,000 BTU (MAW12V1QWT) models as well. This particular remote is for celsuis, but the farenheit models of this remote work as well (I've tried both). Note if you use the celsius model, it will change the display on your AC to celsius. Also, the remote controls temp, mode, fan speed, swing, and sleep. Only thing missing is an ECO button. Thanks to the person who posted that this works on the U-shaped ACs on another version of this remote.

This remote has celsius temperature control limits and display but aside from that it's a very conventional remote. I bought this so both my wife and I can have remotes for our big Danby AC and it works perfectly. It's a good deal, the price is very compelling. The logic of these remotes is not simple. You can both change the fan speed or temperature control or shut it off by aiming and pushing a button. However because of the way it's programmed you may have to push the power button twice to turn it on or off if the fan or temp control has changed since your previous setting. You'll get used to it but it is troubling at first.

My trash can is next to a rave I sit my remotes on & the or conditioner/fan fell in 2 are ago . I lie to keep the fan handy if I get the house too hot in winter & I can"t walk or get up & down by more so the most difficult part of its transaction was finding the right remote. That took a wee of looking. I found it 2 days later it's in my house delivered on a Sunday & I didn't have to add any codes. I just added batteries & pushed the on button & it worked. Yes it does register in Celsius but I"he got the winter to figure that out. I'm happy as an old lady can be!

My air conditioner remote stopped working and I couldn't get a replacement at a local store. I was skeptical about ordering one online but after careful research I chose this one.It arrived in perfect condition and once I put in the batteries and hit the on button, it worked!!I was so relieved!!! I very glad I overcame my reservations and ordered it.

Este artículo pedí desde el primer día que lo recibí un reemplazo pues ni siguiera enciende y con toda seguridad pues las baterías nuevas y para salir de dudas las mismas baterías las use en otro control remoto y funcionaban y estas ni siguiera la pantalla enciende. Con un clic de papelería hice un reset y no enciende no funciona en lo absoluto. No enciende No funciona ya pensaba que lo recibiría llevo días esperándolo por eso entre hoy a la aplicación de Amazon

The controller turns on fine but i bought a specific model an the controller came unbranded without any specification stickers or original packaging it just came on a envelope but it only costed 12 dollas to get the whole thing and for that price im just too lazy for return. but it is not my ac bc the guy who do maintenance tried one he had universal and the ac responded perfect i guess its just lottery( Edit ) i actually requested a return (shotout to amzn returns for easy returns bc they are always easy and fast most of the tiem) ill try to order an original one my air conditioner technician says its normal that universal ac controllers dont work with that unit the controller its right its just not compatible. So i just think the description might be wrong at the time of purchase ill raise the stars to three since its not anybody's fault. not tryna do harm here.
