Great tool for your beard. It’s my second time buying. The first one eventually malfunctioned because the cord would occasionally drop from counter while using it and the weight of the cord and power switch caused wiring issues at the base where the cord attaches to the pick. Spark! Game over. Lol. So never let the cord dangle for long. Basically be mindful of your handling of the item. Small difference in material used to make it. So I gave 3 stars on the thickness. However, the overall performance of the tool itself is great. It does the job. !!For better results make sure you dry your hair properly before using!! The comb is definitely a plus

On the operating instructions it says clearly reaches temperatures up to 450 degrees. It is clearly deceptive. It is accurate but deceptive. It got to 173 for a few seconds then it drops from there. When you start using it the temperature drops even faster. The average temp is about 124 degrees at best. If anyone has ever used a hot comb before, this doesn’t even come close. This will not work on a beard. This is the first time that I have ever written a review and I am 62 years old. Totally worthless. By the way don’t get tricked into using the spray that comes with it so that it may be harder to return. They tell you to use that first before you use the hot pick. I checked the temperate after 2 minutes and then after 5 then 10 and even 30 minutes to make sure to give it a fair chance. Hopefully the pics are clear enough that you can see the temperature readings.

I feel like it takes too long to heat up

I love the the shawty red hot pick it heats up quick and at a comfortable temperature not to hot and it definitely does the job gives your bread a nice full look and gets all the kinks out. This product is great and I will definitely be ordering more for my company. Thanks

My boyfriend loves it gives his beard the full beard look that he’s been wanting no more beard naps hahha important make sure the teeth are facing you do want burn yourself also make sure the little red guards are up so you can see the green light

My Husband was amazed at what it did for his beard. He really loves the product, but I can honestly say it makes him look so handsome and gives him that extra edge. I personally love how sexy it makes him look.

Just doesn’t work. The pick doesn’t get hot. The pick is also like a alligators mouth with sharp teeth on its face so any hair grade 2B and beyond, it’s going to shred and break. No shade or hatred, I really wanted it to work, because I have 3C - 4A and it’s difficult to pick my hair without doing a whole conditioner regimen, but this just doesn’t work.

I wouldn't repurchase this product, please wait till they release a newer version. The pick takes to long to warm up and when it does, it's not as hot as other cheaper products. This is a good concept but it just does get hot enough to straighten hair like you need it.
