Prepare for Splashdown (and Maybe a Little Buyer's Remorse on Shelf Space )
Alright, buckle up, landlubbers! This 12-inch Gyarados figure isn't just epic, it's practically a tidal wave of plastic Pokémon awesomeness. If you've ever dreamed of having a serpentine leviathan dominating your shelf space, then your watery wishes have been granted!First off, the sheer size of this thing is impressive. Twelve inches doesn't sound like much on paper, but in Gyarados form, it translates to a substantial, coiled beast that commands attention. Forget subtly placing this on your desk; it's more like staging a full-scale aquatic invasion. The sculpt is fantastic. They've captured Gyarados's menacing yet strangely majestic look perfectly. The jagged fins, the sharp teeth (rendered safely in plastic, thankfully), and the overall serpentine form are all incredibly detailed. You can almost hear its fearsome roar echoing in your room (though that might just be your imagination... or the neighbor's dog). The paint job is also well done. The vibrant blue scales transition smoothly to the off-white underbelly, and the red crests really pop. There's a nice level of detail in the eyes, giving Gyarados a suitably intense and ready-for-battle gaze. Why almost a perfect score? Here's the breakdown:Epic Scale: Seriously, this thing is BIG. It's a centerpiece figure that will definitely draw the eye.Impressive Detail: The sculpt and paint really bring Gyarados to life. It feels like a premium collectible.Sturdy Construction: The plastic feels durable, so you won't be worried about accidentally snapping off a fin during enthusiastic posing (though articulation is somewhat limited - more on that below).Shelf Presence: This Gyarados has serious shelf swagger. It instantly elevates any Pokémon collection. The Minor Whirlpools:Limited Articulation for its Size: While it looks fantastic, the articulation is surprisingly basic for a figure of this scale. The head can rotate a bit, and the jaw opens (revealing those pointy chompers!), but the body is largely static. Don't expect to pose it in dynamic, sweeping attacks. It's more of a "majestic coil" kind of pose.Shelf Space Shenanigans: Be warned, finding a spot for this behemoth might require some serious rearranging. My poor Pikachu figures suddenly look like tiny snacks in its vicinity. Measure your shelves carefully! The "Battle" Aspect is Mostly Staring: The name says "Epic Battle Figure," but without much articulation, the "battle" is mostly implied. It's more like Gyarados is daring your other figures to challenge its dominance.Final Verdict: If you're a Gyarados fan and have the shelf real estate to accommodate this magnificent beast, then the Pokémon 12" Epic Battle Figure is a must-have. Its sheer size and impressive detail make it a standout piece. Just don't expect dynamic battle poses. This Gyarados is more about making a grand, watery statement. Prepare for splashdown... and maybe a slight reorganization of your living space.

One of the Best Pokemon Toys
My son is a big fan of Pokemon. So one thing I've noticed with all the Pokemon toys is that they are mostly pretty cheap quality. We only recently started buying the toys and already several tails and arms have broken off of some of them. This one, however, is top notch quality. It is sturdy, very nice looking, and rather large. It's such a good toy for the price! I definitely recommend this one, and if you are looking for more high quality Pokemon, get the 12 inch Dragonite as well. Your kids will love them!

Really Cool Toy, Leaking Fluid
This toy is really cool looking and quite large for a Pokemon figure! The only downside is it's leaking fluid. I'm not exactly sure from where or how or why it has fluid in it, but the body/chest area has a clear, almost baby oil type consistency fluid leaking from it and coating the toy.

Gyarados use dragon dance!!!
I love this figure! It is articulated, but its movement is somewhat limited. Nonetheless, it's a perfect figure for posing or playing with. Plus, you get a physical version of one of the greatest pokemon ever!

Nice durable figure
Got this for my 6yr old, it’s a really nice size for little kids and holds up to his level of play, but he’s always been very gentle with toys, so I could imagine a rougher kid breaking the stand or other parts pretty quickly.Super affordable compared with a lot of smaller Pokémon toys.My son loves it, and it looks nice on his shelf between play sessions.
