I strop these blades before use, giving them a deadly sharp edge.Cuts smoothly, carves paper thin and with a very thin blade I can do very smooth and tiny detailed cuts without too much pressure.

They will not fit an American Stanley knife
They looked like a Stanley blade but are much smaller. Thankfully, they fit perfectly in an exacto knife body and this combination has replaced the Stanley as my marking knife . They are very sharp and thin, but strong enough to mark out dovetails and knife walls. Good ending to my mistake
