I used one of these as a grounding post for a so called "Solar Generator" I built. I have the inverter connected inside, and the post with screw cap outside is for clamping a cable and connecting to a grounding source, It works great. Now I have a safe grounding solution for my portable power station.These posts are very easy to install, are top rugged quality, solid and extremely durable. They come complete and ready for installation. I can highly recommend these to any needing terminal posts. They are a great value for the price and I give them 5 stars.

These work perfect on my boat battery box.

They seem pretty good but parts were scattered and some pieces got out of the box before it arrived. Had to return and reorder.

These terminals are fantastic, especially for the money.I have read many complaints that are just WRONG! These were designed to be modified per your application. The studs are made oversize in length on purpose.1) First disassemble everything.2) Thread the stud all the way down into the battery terminal.3) Wind a washer and nut down to the terminal by hand firmly.4) Slide the plastic spacer with the nut impression down onto the nut.5) Slide the other spacer with the round boss onto the other spacer.6) Slide a washer onto this spacer.7) Wind a nut down to sandwich the spacers together.8) Thread the Knurled knob onto the stud until it stops.9) Measure the distance between the spacer and the bottom of the knob and add 1/16".10) This is how much you need to cut off the stud for your application. Hacksaw/lathe whatever works.11) Now you have a perfect battery terminal!

I mounted these through the top of my gangbox on my little hunting/fishing boat. Didn't want to cut the leads off my trolling motor to put on quick connects, since I use the motor on other boats that aren't wired up. These terminals are robust, large, and were incredibly easy to install. They allow me to hook up my motor in seconds and double as auxiliary hookups for other 12V accessories I don't use often enough to wire in.

These terminals were larger than the ones I took off my grid tie inverter, but was afraid anything smaller may not handle the current. I enlarged the hole and they work great.

I use these on my marine battery and they keep things simple when connecting my trolling motor to it.
