I can’t tell you how much I love this book for my daughter. She reaches for it all the time!! It covers sooooo many topics and is honest, straight forward and real but still very much age appropriate. We have quite a few books from this series but this one seems to be her favorite.

My daughter's questioning almost always started with, "Is it normal if...?" so finding this book was an answer to my prayers. I didn't mind answering my daughter's questions that were often very personal and somewhat uncomfortable for both of us, but I bought it would be helpful for her to have a book that she could read through and also keep as a reference any time she needed to look back through it.She read the book cover to cover quickly and, since reading it, has had very few questions about what is or isn't normal. She seems to be less fearful about the changes that she notices in her body. She has also read The Care and Keeping of You (1), and the combination of the two books has been great. Next year, I will probably buy the 2nd Care and Keeping book.

This is a wonderful book to get for girls approaching puberty! Our daughter was asking a lot of questions about changes she was going through so I bought these and we read through them together in case she had more questions. Very easy read with enough information but not too much.

I have looked everywhere for a book that explains these body issues, read hundreds of reviews- I finally decided on this book & I am glad I did. I read this entire book before giving it to my 12yr old. I tore out 4 pages. Two on how to insert a tampon & two on eating disorders. There was nothing inappropriate about these pages- this is just what I decided to do. The book is written perfectly, giving brief, but thorough information. I was glad to see some of the subjects - which I believe will help my daughter feel “less alone” in her experiences.

This is a great series of books for tweens. They have so many questions and unknowns and this is a good starting point for answers. Easy to read, pictures and information. Great gift for tween!

This book is wonderful my 10-year-old is excited to read it and understands the material it’s funny how the book and I could say the same thing but it means more coming from the book to her. It is a good source of information and is very descriptive and the changes in our bodies.

Bought this book for my 11 year old... some of the books I’ve seen don’t put things in the perspective of a young girl, but this one was amazing. I read it before I gave it to her and I was blown away at how easy the info was made to understand. I immediately gave this book to my daughter and asked her to read it and then ask me any questions she had

I bought this book for my 10 year old daughter and she loved it. The format of readers writing in their questions really made her feel at ease with her experiences.

My 8 year old daughter loves this book. Answers questions that they are thinking but maybe not saying.

Great series of books for preteens. My daughter loves it. I'll be continuing to buy more on this series of books.
