It is a beautiful item and i really think my son will love it.

Purchased this for our son for Father's Day. Two years ago, he was in a horrible accident, lost his left arm at the scene and a miracle that he didn't die scene, but he was taken to a trauma hospital and they were able to save his life. His arm was not salvageable. He has a difficult time wearing a watch on his right arm so I thought a pocket watch would be the answer. Plus I loved the "greeting" engraved on the watch, especially for Father's Day. He loved the pocket watch! It was a hit.

Watch looks great and will be a great gift for my son. The engraved message makes it extra special. A little instruction on how to get the watch running would have been great. There is a little white piece of plastic that you need to remove so you can depress the stem into the running mode. I didn't notice this little tab until after having returned the original one and getting a new one. It isn't super easy to see unless you know it is there. Vendor should include a note for this. Other than that, I am very happy with the product.Update: Roman numerals fall off. I ordered two of these and within a short time a Roman numeral has fallen off of each watch. Maybe because my 7 year old isn't careful enough with it. But the manufacturer should use stronger adhesive.

My son was thrilled

This light weight pocket watch was a perfect heartfelt gift to my son. He loves it and after reading it, it meant so much more to him. It seems to be durable so far, but it does feel extremely light so we will see. The size is great for his hand and pocket. It's not ginormous. Great value for how much it meant to him.

My son loves this! He says he gets compliments all the time on it!
