Not quite perfect, but my go-to brand
White lightning is my go-to brand. It's easy to paint, and, while I think it could be easier to keep white and clean, it's probably as good as any other brand of white caulking I've used.I give ease of use three stars because for the first couple of long beads after you have opened a new tube, the caulking comes out of the tube of its own accord. This means that after you finish triggering, even if you retract the piston on the caulking gun, the caulking continues to ooze out of the tube. This can get very messy and is certainly a waste.Adhesion is excellent, and I have often use White Lightning not just as caulking, per se, but as construction adhesive. It also seems to stay flexible for years instead of getting brittle.
