Q: I can't seem to get this to work and was so excited. Tips on the technique?

Make sure ropes aren't tangled.Then get some grease Vaseline will work also put some on the ropes then move ball through grease by hand next lay ropes on ground get a water hose and soak the ropes this makes it superfast. As for technique make you put tension on rope and pull apart really fast ball should be moving once pitched bring handles back together so ball returns to you. You will get a great shoulder workout. I have no complaints accept for the ball but the grease reduces the frictions and so far it has worked great it helped my twins start getting hits instead of striking out good luck hope this helps.
