Great knife
Got it to replace a Stanley that I had worn out. Just as good as the original which I had for at least 20 years.

Best carpet knife!
I have used many carpet knives. This is by far the easiest to use.

Poor Design
I could kick myself for ordering this. After I put the blade in the mechanism for moving the blade in and out required Herculean strength to move. I assumed it was user error, so watched a couple of videos online to confirm I had loaded the blade correctly. Turns out the problem was not the user. The problem was either a defective product or extremely poor design of the blade movement. Regardless, world never order this again and can not recommend it unless you want to get out a pair of pliers every time you need to move the blade in or out.

Cheaply made and difficult to change blades
It's inexpensive and does the job well enough when assembled properly but it's difficult to change blades. Since I need to change blades often (I use it to cut acoustic ceiling tiles and a blade only lasts for 3-4 cuts) I waste a lot of time trying to hold everything together so I can tighten it up without things getting out of alignment. You have to almost completely disassemble and then reassemble it to change a blade. If you don't get it right the blade will slip and things could get dangerous.

Solid knife, not intuitive to assemble blade.
Worked great for cutting my flor tiles. I only did a little bit so can't really review the actual blade or how long it will last. The only reason i am giving this 4 stars is because it was not that intuitive to assemble the blade.
