Fantastic!
Love this kettle! Have had it over a year and use it multiple times a day for tea, matcha, hot cocoa etc. and to throw into the dog food to make a warm gravy. Anything that needs hot water, cup-o-noodles, instant mashed potatoes, instant oatmeal, this does the trick so much faster than boiling water on the stove. So much more useful than a coffee maker IMO. Bought a pour-over coffee maker for that, but I'm not a daily coffee drinker.

Excellent kettle, better than the larger one, zero complaints. Been using every day for months.
I've used this nearly every single day for over two months, often several times per day, and I'm very happy with it. I spent literally hours comparing dozens of different kettles (foolish of me, good for you), and I'm confident I made the right choice with this one. I'm the type to nitpick and notice any design flaws, and while I'm reluctant to use the word 'perfect', the fact that I have zero complaints about this says a lot!Actually, at first I ordered a larger version from the same manufacturer, and ended up returning it for this one. Both were fine, but this was better for me: Primarily because this has a smaller minimum fill level (300 ml). That means less energy use and faster boil time, since the vast majority of the time I just need enough for one cup of coffee or oatmeal (300 ml is still usually more than I need, but this is better than most kettles on the market).It also takes up less space on my counter, and I like that the lid opens a full 90°. I don't mind the manual instead of spring-loaded opening, if anything I prefer it, and that probably makes it more durable. The base is good and grippy so it stays where I put it. I haven't had to clean it yet (except once before my first use, and occasionally wiping off coffee splatter near the spout), but the smaller size and 90° lid opening makes it easier to clean than the larger version. It still looks brand new. It's fairly easy to read the inside markings for the minimum fill line, the wide opening lid probably helps with that. Overall this feels solid and well made, yet light and compact enough that it wouldn't be crazy to take this on a road trip (though there may be better options for that).The outside only gets warm not hot, and while almost none of these kettles insulate well (regardless of claims), it is double walled and stays hot enough for long enough for my purposes at least. It heats fast enough that if I get distracted for a while and I'm not sure how hot it is, I just flip the switch again, it boils so rapidly it's really not an issue- usually the water is ready before I am..I suppose the only things that could make this better is vacuum insulation, and an even smaller minimum fill level (the latter may not be feasible for safety/durability reasons, and vacuum insulated kettles seem to be very rare on Amazon at least [despite several obviously false advertising claims]). FYI I ruled out kettles with an exterior liquid level indicator, because I think that has more potential for sanitary issues; and fancier looking glass ones because anytime you have multiple materials joined together, there is more potential for leaks, cracks, and other failures (especially when high heat and liquid are involved). Aside from the obvious fragility (and poor thermal insulation) of glass as opposed to metal and plastic.But seriously unless you need a larger kettle, you should probably stop looking and just buy this one. If I somehow lost or broke this one, I would buy the exact same one again.[Update April 2023: I'm still using this every single day, often multiple times per day, and it's still going strong! One of my best purchases ever.I think I used CLR one time to remove some mineral buildup, I probably will again at some point, but it really isn't necessary.]

Works really fast, and is attractive;
Love it. Never had one before! It is truly amazing how fast it heats water!

Does the job, affordable
What I was seeking was a way to boil water with an automatic shutoff, so I could focus on other tasks without worrying about boiling away the water. I often boil water several times a day, so the extra ease adds up!Things that mattered to me when choosing:1) Stainless steel, with no plastic anywhere inside.2) Auto shut-off.3) Reliability -- not leaking, etc.4) About 4 cups. No smaller, but also not much bigger.Why I chose this one:All the options I could find that met my criteria had enough relevant negative reviews, that I decided to go with a more affordable one so I wouldn't be risking much -- though I ruled out units where people showed any defects that seemed actually dangerous. This one, on sale, cost about $20.It seemed as if there was no plastic inside.I liked the red option. :)What I like about it:- It does the job and I am finding this one little change actually does make things easier for me every day. I love how easy and quick it is. If I can't get to it while it's still hot, I just flip the switch again and it's ready in no time!- I haven't needed to clean it, but I like that if I do need to, it's as easy as can be to see and access the whole inside. (I followed the instructions to boil and toss a couple of pots full in the beginning, and have only boiled water in it since then. Plus, I leave the lid open until any condensation is dried up, before closing the lid. Btw, I love that the lid can be left open that way.)Pouring is fine, but you don't want to pour too fast, else the water overflows the spout. But it's plenty fast enough, even for me, running as fast as I often am.The only thing I'm not totally pleased with is that the tiny plastic tab which locks the lid down is actually right above the spout -- where the hot/boiling water can pass over it on the way out. I wish that had been made of stainless steel. The hinge on the lid is also plastic, though it looks as if it retracts and is blocked by the stainless inner lid, when in use. (I'd still rather that was stainless.)My solution, while reminding myself this is a $20 pot, is that I click the lid open before pouring, so that plastic tab is not anywhere near the water as it pours out. Easy to do, and the lid blocks the steam from hitting my hand. So it works out.Some day, if the perfect stainless steel electric kettle comes along, I might pay the big bucks for it. But honestly, I looked at a lot of pricey options, and nothing seemed much better, so I'm happy with this little pot. It definitely does what I wanted it to do, and every time I use it (several times a day), I feel happy to have it.
