This set of flatware is perfect for your daily use or entertainment.Note: Since this is a set of 5 pieces of flatware, you will have to but several sets for the number of place settings you desire. At the current price,. you may want to buy a service for 12 or more in stages. If you buy you could sped up to $360 or more. So, buy these in stages so that you won't get sticker shock. You may want to look for a better deal else where. Don't get me wrong here, It is the price that will get you more in the pocketbook, Best spend over $100 + or more for a complete set of dishes rather than for a place setter for 1 of 5 pieces. The quality of the flatware is good (very good). I don't want to discourage you from buying it. If you do have this set, then the price for replacement pieces is worth the current price.

Used to replace lost pieces
Ought to replace pieces missing from our set that we got 20+ years ago. The pattern is identical and the size is the same, but the feel of the pieces is slightly different. One noticeable difference was in the knife: the tang and the handle in the original set are separate pieces, but in this set, the knife is a single forged piece. The weight seems lighter than the originals. I can’t be certain, but it feels like a different metal is used in the new pieces. Now, with that said, these pieces are perfect to add to the set we had and replace the missing pieces. Also, one of the old knife handles started to get loose and the new knives won’t suffer the same fate. If you have an older set, these are perfect to add or replace missing pieces.
