I ordered this cutting board in October of 2019, and it is now March 2020. This remains my favorite cutting board!I remember I did an absurd amount of research on cutting boards before purchasing this one. I wanted a cutting board with very specific dimensions - large cutting boards discourage me from using them (because of the cleanup), while boards that are too small become impractical if you're cutting anything of decent quantity.We have a plastic cutting board that was the perfect size for what I like, but I wanted a wood substitute, due to how I read plastics can harbor more bacteria and that wood is actually the most hygienic (which surprised me!).After searching far too long, I finally found this cutting board that ticked all my boxes! Perfect size, perfect material. Importantly, it was also a decent thickness, as otherwise I didn't want to be too concerned with warping. As an additional bonus, I found the wood and style of this cutting board gorgeously beautiful!When it arrived, it was just as lovely as it appeared online! I felt less ludicrous about all the research I did on cutting boards, haha. I adore using this cutting board because of how gorgeous it is, and its size makes it very easy to pick up and use - whether for something small like a few cloves of garlic, or something larger like a few carrots or cucumbers. It is perfect for my needs!It is also as gorgeous now as it was when it arrived! It does have knife scratches on it - what wooden board doesn't have these? - but it doesn't take away from the beautiful board, in my opinion. They aren't overly noticeable to me, and if anything, to me they signify how well-used and loved this cutting board is. :)I have never liked a cutting board as much as this one, and unlike some other wooden cutting boards I might have had in the past, this one encouraged me to take care of it! I dry it with a cloth after I've washed it, then place it vertically on a drying rack. It's remained beautiful and flat with very simple care!We've only applied mineral oil to it once, and probably should do so again soon - but it's held up wonderfully in the meantime. It seems very well-made and resilient, and I think it is an excellent buy, especially at this price point!Thank you Ironwood Gourmet for making such an amazing product, and making my time in the kitchen even more enjoyable! :D

It is the perfect size & shape for my small kitchen. Looks good on the counter while not in use & functions very well when in use. Sturdy, durable & easy to clean.

Beautiful little cutting boards. Acacia always was one of my favourite woods because of the colour and grain. These cutting boards show off these characteristics perfectly. The size is ideal for small tasks such as cutting a single onion or a small piece of meat, and having 2 boards means you can keep one for cooked foods and one for raw to avoid cross-contamination. The little hole in the corner is very handy for storage; you can just hang them anywhere and they'll look great.They aren't too thick, but given the size, I doubt there will be any problems with warping, provided proper care is taken (as with all wooden products). Wipe with mineral or cutting board oil every so often, do NOT wash in hot water, wipe dry immediately after washing, and of course don't put it in the dishwasher.

The product looks nice, but is much too thin to be called a legemate "Cutting Board". It fit properly in the space I had for it, but I would look for something more substantial if you truly need a cutting board to cook.

I was looking for something small enough to sit a spoon rest on. Ideally, I wanted to place it on the stove on a burner that I don't use. This did work for that. A couple of negatives were one, the board got scorched from the exhaust coming up the back of the stove top from the oven..(yes my fault). I placed aluminum foil under it afterwards. Second, a wet pot lid was placed on top of the board, and now there is several water stains. So, it is not coated to be water resistant. Maybe it was meant to be wiped down. There were no care instructions with it.

I'll be honest here, I almost don't want to review this product because I'm afraid the next time I want these, they'll be sold out again.... I ordered one in Nov. 2013 because I needed a new small cutting board and since this is a 2-pk, I thought the second one would make a nice gift paired with new paring knife for a friend. It arrived and I was thrilled with the quality. They are almost too nice to use as a daily cutting board, more like a fancy one to present cheese and fruit on. You can't really tell from the photo that one of the cutting boards is a light color and the other a dark color. I ordered several more to have on hand for hostess and wedding shower gifts.**Update** Here it is 5 years since I purchased my first set of these cutting boards and I am still using the original ones. I love them because they really last - better than my large bamboo cutting board which has been replaced - and they are the best thing with active teenagers always wanting to cut their after school snacks like apples, etc. Quicker and easier to wash and keep the kitchen tidy with a small, useful board like these. I had to search several years of Amazon orders to find these again to order for some hostess gifts around the holidays!

My boards splintered and became soft after just a few uses. Can scratch away with my fingernail. Just used to cut fruit and wiped clean, never submerged. I'm surprised at the good reviews... cute boards though and great size.

size desired but wood is rough needed sanding. Sanded and oiled liberally. Will be ok but can see a join of boards will be a weak spot.

A great cutting board. Such a nice wood grain that I want to hang it. I may have to buy another to use.

This expensive and high quality wooden chopping board arrived damaged because it was given no basic protective packaging. Such a shame.

Estuve buscando una tabla para picar pequeña y no tan gruesa que se acomodara a mi set de GSI outdoors de 24 piezas, la madera se siente muy resistente, se menciona que están fabricadas con madera acacia que cambia la tonalidad de clara a obscura conforme va envejeciendo el árbol, son de fibras rectas y grano medio, es una madera pesada y durable.El paquete contiene dos tablas una clara y una obscura y son del tamaño de la palma de la manoMencionan algunos compradores que la madera se daña con la primer lavada pero ami no me ocurrido nada parecido, ya lleva 5 lavadas y aun se ve increíble la madera aunque solo he ocupado la de color claro
