Gourmet Caramels with French Fleur de Sel of Guerande 18pc

Product was stale. Caramel were hard to chew, not very soft

I was overly anxious and excited to try these, after reading reviews and enjoying a salted caramel shake at Red Robin recently. While these are packaged very nicely, they don't taste any different than your average grocery store variety of plastic wrapped caramels, like you melt for caramel apples. Worth a try, but, won't order again. Maybe they taste different when eaten in France?

This year, I visited many of the small villages in the Normandy region, and one of the memories I have is of shops in the quaint little towns selling all sorts of locally made caramels. This product reminds me of walking along the coast, smelling the sea air, and enjoying a small bagful of local caramels. The taste is wonderful - not too sweet, as some caramels can be - and they manage to get the texture exactly right as well.Definitely recommended, even if you've never been to France.

The caramel itself is okay but not my favorite tasting caramels that I've tried. I dont eat them.

Husband just loves these and our usual place doesn't always have them, so when I want to treat him, it's nice to have the option here on Amazon to get them. Wish they did the larger size on Prime or at all, but it's all good.

Tasty, like regular taste a bit more though. Still highly recommend!

I bought these as a gift, and the recipient was very impressed. They don't taste like you just dumped some sugar in your mouth, but instead have a complex milky flavor to them. With just a hint of salt, they make the perfect treat.
