Solstice Apparel Women's Insect Repellent Long Sleeve Shirt

I wore this all through our hikes in the rainforest in Argentina, and did not get a bite. Not only that, but it looked fantastic on me. It was a very flattering color, and it was helpful that the back of the collar would stand up and protect my neck against bites. The one caution I would give is that the size charts are misleading. I had to return the first shirt I bought, because it was too small. So, I would advise women to order a size larger than the size chart recommends.

Based on reviews, I went up a size and was swimming in it. I loved the lightness of it (for work in the tropics) so I ordered a small, my usual size. It's still too big in width, and a bit shorter than I wanted, but I'm keeping it. I'm 5'4" 130 lbs, usually a small.

I ordered this in Blue and love it so I ordered the same size (S) in the Rose plaid. I like the cottony feel of the rose color but it is a fair bit smaller than the blue in the same size. I could wear it but it is tighter across the torso, the sleeves are a tad shorter and the length is probable 1/2' shorter.Unfortunately, Amazon wants me to return the small before trying the medium. I would much prefer to try on the medium before deciding which one to keep.Will return small and try the medium.Sure would be nice if you could just call and talk to a person.

I purchased two of these blouses, tan and blue, for a trip to Ethiopia where insect repellent is necessary in some areas. I had searched and searched for insect repellent treated clothing, bought a number of items from competitors (most of which I returned), but these were by far the best. Lightweight, wrinkle resistant, great fit, lovely material, no but repellent odor, attractive, and pockets! Bonus, wash easily in sink, hang to dry, to wear again in Ethiopia. Great price, relative to others. Highly recommend.

This shirt needs to have a pleat in the back yoke. I am 5'7" with narrow shoulders and average length arms, but when I reach forward to weed or prone, the sleeves ride up and expose 6-8 inches or wrist. The shirt is not loose enough for heavy physical labor in hot weather. The XL is the right size for wearing under a business suit, but not for digging and hauling. The sleeves and shirttails run short. I would return it, except that I washed it prior to use due to an abundance of caution during the pandemic. Buy two sizes up if you want freedom of movement. I normally wear a 14/16 and have very narrow shoulders, but even the shoulders on the XL are too tight. It does work to repel insects and is probably is about as light weight as can be expected for insect protection. On the positive side, it does have underarm gussets, an expensive detail, but without a shoulder pleat, they are of limited use.

Looking forward to wearing this for its anti-mosquito properties, but also love the styling with the side seam cuts at the hips for ease of wear, lightweight airy feel fabric, vent at shoulders, nice zip pockets, buttons up to neck. Long enough to cover my tush, nice 2nd button on the sleeves to tighten at the wrist to keep those bugs at bay. Bought this and a stone color for a jungle trip. I am impressed with the fit.

I like this shirt. I originally purchased the large. But I had to return it, b/c it was enormous! So I decided to order the medium in its place. But be warned the disparity between the size ''large'' and the ''medium'' is vast. ''Medium'' fits well everywhere, but it is snug across the midsection. The ''large'' in this particular style should be marked extra large.

Hi, I purchased this shirt (size M, womens pink stripe)for our daughters study abroad trip to Thailand. She left on June 20th 2018 and just returned home last night from Thailand, August 8th, 2018. She did not wear the shirt and all the tags are on it. It was kept in a plastic bag the whole time. I would like to return it, but the system will not allow me to since it is after the return date. I spend a lot of time in dense forests, but can't stand bug spray. Before buying this top, I tried layering but got bites anyway, and layering in the hot summer is very uncomfortable. This top is AMAZING! It's super light weight, has lots of pockets and most importantly, ACTUALLY KEEPS THE BUGS AWAY! The only time I was bitten was through the cuff hole, when I took my gloves off. It's comfortable, looks great and is easy to wash. I got it mainly for ticks, but it repels all bugs and is so much cleaner and easier than bug spray.

J’ai pris medium et elle me va parfaitement ( 5’4et 135 lb) Je la porte pour la pêche mais apprécie aussi son look classique qui fait que je peux la porter en d’autre occasion. Je n’ai pas remarqué de moustique autour de moi donc j’imagine que le traitement fonctionne bien, de toute façon pour le prix je considère que cet achat est un must !

I really like the material and style of this shirt for outdoor work in the summer time. I like how light weight it is, the color, the zipper pockets. I like the breathable mesh between shoulder blades.I'm giving 3 stars, not because I don't like the shirt, but because mosquitoes still land on it. Since it is a loose fit, I didn't really get bit by mosquitoes anyways.

This is a nice light shirt that just skims the body making it stylish and comfortable to wear without it looking baggy. The colour is true to images online as is the sizing. It will wash and dry easily to reduce how much to pack when traveling. Most importantly for me, it is made with an insect repellent that is good for up to 30 washings.

Love this shirt. Fits great. I ordered an x-small which is my usual size and the fit was perfect! The fabric is comfortable, breathes well, washes well and line dries (with a breeze) in less than 10 minutes ! I use it mainly for sun protection however while hiking also was excellent for mosquito protection! Will be ordering another one!
