Although I had to return the shipped product and source one locally, I would highly recommend this for anyone using a Chapman Stickbass which uses stereo outputs (use the 'Blend/Mix' button on the side of the Radial OD to enable both inputs at once). It essentially acts as a specialized two channel bass mixer. I have the PASV-4 block pickup - the Radial preamps sound nice and I haven't noticed any additional noise introduced in my signal path. Didn't need the OD but it's kinda cool to have it. The EQ is great considering my only other option was to haul a small mixer to gigs. The unit is solid. Period. Hope they don't discontinue this pedal in lieu of the Bassbone V2 because that product doesn't fit my use case.

I like this. Wish it had a tad more gain adjustment on the clean side. I retired my 20 year old SansAmp bass driver DI.

I didn't like it, and returned it. I know many people love these things, but I found it colored the sound too much. Liked having the 2 channels and the OD, but just could not get used to the tone. It is built for the road, thought, and all the controls were very tight and high quality. DI out was VERY quiet!!Chicago Music/Amazon was great about accepting the return. Outstanding customer service!It is a great unit but, let's face it, bassist don't all play the same instrument/amp, right? Bottom line, I think this is something you need to try to see if you like the tone for your specific bass/amp/PA application.

If you play Upright and Electric bass on the same gig and have to switch fast, this is an absolute must! The double set of tone controls are essential and function great. Each channel has the advantage of being tunable to the type of pickup you have, the sound is awesome! And it's a great direct box for live and studio!

Great unit! Have the original Bassbone and didn't no V2 was releasing two weeks after I purchased this. Sonically the same only the new V2 is functionally more suitable for me.

Great sounding unit but died after only one year of use. Developed a large hum when any button was depressed, which would have cost too much to fix. Sad because I had an original Tonebone that worked great for years. I won’t buy it again.

This tool introduces an extreme amount of noise into the signal chain, especially in a recording setting.
