is the rack okay for nitrocellulose guitars?

I have used it for over five years for guitars with a nitro finish and have observed no damage so far.

Will this accommodate my classical guitar's

Should be OK as the spacing is adjustable. It is capable of holding more than 5 electric guitars. I have 2 acoustics and 4 electrics on mine.

Would this be able to hold 4 acoustic (dreadnought) guitars, using the expansion pack?

In my experience, I think it would be a bit of a squeeze. I've got one acoustic (Sigma 000R-28V), an electric guitar and electric bass and a 5 string banjo in mine and the rack is pretty full up. I have to take care when I take any of the guitars out of the rack, to make sure I don't bash them together.

What width is this product when open?

490mm front to back, 620mm side to side. This is a superb guitar stand. I use it for a parlour acoustic, a 12 string and a classical and all fit securely.
