Played for 40 years without a laser!
Bought this as a knee jerk reaction. All of my golf buds have one so bam! Bought this one. Works great, just get familiar with the modes and it works as it should! Sitting in a cart with a friend that had a Bushnell, we shot the same flag and accuracy is spot on. Very pleased with mine. Had it over a year and the battery is still good (bought a few extras for my bag).

Great range finder for the money
I've used this thing all over the course for about a year now and love it. I can shoot pins, yardages to trees, bunker lips, the distance to the cart girl when she decides to stop 200 yards out while I'm just trying to hit a 4 iron off the tee (please don't stop there). Long story short, my handicap has dropped from a 9.4 to a 6. My understanding of course management is at an all time high and I'm now hitting more 5 irons off the tee so I don't put any through the cart girls windshield. Battery lasts a while (I've only changed it once since I got it a year ago). I find it just as accurate as my buddies laser finders that usually cost double or triple the price. Very happy with it overall.

Good product / Great value
On the product alone, this would be a 3.5 to 4 star rating. But I have to say that I was looking for a value, and on the price to performance, I give it a 6+, so that leads to a 5/5 overall.I am replacing a Bushnell which I have been using for at least 5 years, but the buttons have stopped working on the colder days, and I already know the service department at Bushnell will 1) be slow, and 2) not fix something for under $150 - so if I can buy a new unit in that range and have it in 2 days or less, that's the way to go.Is it accurate? For the two rounds last weekend I validated with my playing partners multiple times with Bushnell and Leopold units, and at most the difference was +/- 1 yard on all checks. As for the slope, my playing partners don't have that, and my previous unit didn't - so the variances it gives me seem to make sense, but I don't know - I really pay attention 95% of the time to the big number on top and then add or sub a club as necessary for uphill/downhill/wind/conditions.One reason that nobody I play with has slope is that we all play in quite a few competitions where slope lasers are illegal. That was one thing I was excited about this unit-- the switchable nameplates - which turns a slope unit into a regulation unit completely. Instead of a switch or mode, which I got grief with an old Bushnell 1500/slope in an amatuer competition once because it was just a mode change to non-slope, this unit transforms fully, giving no indication that it is a slope model once you switch the plate. That's really nice- except a couple things, the plate is rather thin plastic, with just a couple nubs on one side which activate the slope/non-slope. When installed it seems solid, but when removed - you put in a small pouch, instead of a sleeve in the carry case, and that seems like it could still get crushed, or misplaced. But overall I give this a 5 star for innovation and function, and a 3 star for possible durability issues of the removed nameplate. NOTE- if the nameplate is completely missing, the unit reverts to slope function.Last plus I would say is the usage of the CR2 battery. I am seeing more and more units that are USB rechargable. Buy this product or don't - but DO NOT buy a USB recharge laser and thank me later. The lithium CR2 (or the larger 123) batterys will last a long time, dozens of rounds - why anyone would want to worry about recharging every few rounds when you can just buy a 4 pack and keep a spare in your bag is beyond me. I was getting more than 80 rounds with the 123 battery in my Pro1m. This unit with a CR2 will get a little less, but I will carry a spare in the bag for whenever it does need it. Also a rechargeable battery will wear out over time (like your car battery or a phone battery), when you are just popping in another $2 lithium, you get a new battery every time. Recharge makes sense in high drain, but in long life applications like this, or your TV remote control, a small lithium battery provides reliable long life.

Works fast and accurate as Bushnell
My friend had a $400 bushnell range finder and my caddytek was only off by 1 yard. The range finder locks superfast.

Great product
Works great and compares in performance with all its competitors. Why pay or a name? I was concerned about accuracy and ease of use. Everything worked out great. Love using it.

Great Product
I knew a laser rangefinder would help my game, but I didn't realize how much it would actually help change my game entirely. This rangefinder works very well, its easy to use, responsive, accurate, and I love it. I took it to the range first to get accurate readings on how far I hit my clubs, and the next round I played was my best round, EVER. Huge improvement, instantly.

Great kit at fantastic price
Great piece of kit at a really good price. I’ve never been able to use this type of device before as I can’t them straight without shaking. The jolt function in pin seeking mode really helps me in this aspect. I use a sky caddie and have done for years but this kit gives me the edge as it’s so accurate compared to guess work with current device. I’ll use them in conjunction from now on. Not commented on battery life as only just received caddytek.

Not perfect but reasonable
I play the golf at least two time per week (18holes), I'm satisfied with this stuff. Usually not so much different measure with expensive stuff, but some times it returns wrong figures (maybe laser reflected from ground or back tree) In a strong fog, it doesn't work. In a rain, it stands perfectly. at evening, it is difficult to read the screen. Overall, I'm satisfied with it as I expected in this price level. I recommended this to my friends several times already.
