Very effective cleaning the throttle body plate and throat in my 1998 4runner. After cleaning, the trucks idle smoothed out and drivability improved. A little goes a long way and you'll have enough to last the lifetime of your Toyota truck. A number of manufacturers make similar products but why not buy the Toyota brand. It's cheaper and seems like it's made for the job.

Yes, this throttle cleaner is pricey and perhaps the true active ingredients are similar to less expensive alternatives on the market. However, if you find this product on discount, I highly recommend it. That being said, if you are paying full price perhaps this is not the best value overall. Remember, as with all cleaners, don't over apply. Don't let it pool. A little goes a long way and cleans terrific.
